"Ah... it feels refreshing." I stretched my body on the bed.

My body now feels much fresher compared to yesterday. Yesterday was truly exhausting, especially when I think about it. Today, I'll take it easy and avoid engaging in intense battles like yesterday.

The morning light penetrated through the gaps in the curtains, while I remained lying on the bed with my two swords beside me.

I fell into a deep sleep after evaluating my two swords. Previously, I didn't have time to identify them, but it's clear that both are incredibly powerful swords with different attributes and abilities.

[Dual Sword Althea and Nerezza]

[Description:

White Sword Althea: Goddess Althea represents fate, truth, justice, and knowledge. She holds the pure white thread of destiny and wisely guides and influences the fate of humans. Goddess Althea symbolizes determination, honesty, and respect for moral values.

Black Sword Nerezza: Goddess Nerezza represents dark destiny, symbolizing darkness, uncertainty, and transformation. She holds the dark thread of destiny and embodies the mysterious and powerful aspects of fate. Goddess Nerezza represents steadfastness, resilience, and strength in facing the challenges of destiny.]

[Abilities:

White Sword Althea has a configuration with all attributes, purification and cleansing abilities, unaffected by magic nullification, regenerative abilities, and an encryption-type sword that cannot be transferred to others.

Black Sword Nerezza has a configuration with all attributes, curse and darkness abilities, unaffected by magic nullification, regenerative abilities, and an encryption-type sword that cannot be transferred to others.]

[Durability: Made of highly resilient Tungsten metal.]

"These are truly remarkable swords, and I don't have to worry about someone stealing them."

As for my abilities, there are still some that I don't fully understand, such as magic and the ability to manipulate magical energy. Perhaps I should buy a book on magic and also check my level. It seems that I gained five levels from fighting the wolves yesterday.

Lastly, in terms of money, I have around a hundred thousand crypto coins in my possession. Livi taught me a bit about the currency used in this world. Here, they don't use copper, silver, or gold coins. Instead, they use a cryptocurrency called "crypto," which is made of Kryptonite metal.

When converting to my currency, one crypto coin is equivalent to a thousand Indonesian rupiahs (0.067 dollars). Ten crypto coins are equal to ten thousand rupiahs(0.67 dollars), a hundred crypto coins are equal to a hundred thousand rupiahs(6.70 dollars), and finally, a thousand crypto coins are equal to one million rupiahs(67.22 dollars).

The crypto coins in this world come in four denominations: one crypto coin, ten crypto coins, a hundred crypto coins, and a thousand crypto coins. The circulation of this currency is regulated by the merchant guild and the state.

For over a year, I could be financially stable and just lay around lazily every day. But I don't want to do that. I want to embark on adventures and explore this world, even though there's one particular country I have to visit, even though I'm reluctant to go there myself.

I returned my sword to storage, got up from the bed, and left the room to go to the bathroom before having breakfast. I had booked accommodation with a package that includes three meals. At least I won't miss out on experiencing the taste of food in this world, especially since it's my first time.

-----------------------------------------

After a quick shower, I headed to the dining area provided by the inn. It was a room with several round wooden tables, and at one end of the room, there was a long bar table for placing orders and picking up meals.

There weren't many people when I entered the room, just some servers and a few individuals who seemed like adventurers.

The breakfast served in front of me was a grilled big boar steak, two slices of whole wheat bread, and a glass of almond milk.

"Hmm... emm... emm."

The meat tasted delicious and tender, but the seasoning was lacking. It felt like something was missing, and it was slightly bland to me. The quality of the meat was good, but unfortunately, it wasn't complemented by flavorful seasoning that would have made it even tastier. Well, this is just my amateur judgment based on the taste references from some restaurants I used to visit back on Earth.

"Vans, sorry for keeping you waiting." Suddenly, Livi came and startled me while I was enjoying my meal.

"Oh, it's okay. I just woke up and got my breakfast here. Wait here, I'll order for you too."

"Oh... no, there's no need, Vans. I already had breakfast with my mom and sister earlier," Livi declined my offer. Well, I couldn't force her if she didn't want to.

"I thought you couldn't come today," because yesterday she seemed hesitant about being able to accompany me.

"As luck would have it, I don't have any guild work today, and I've finished all my tasks at home."

"At the guild, what kind of work do you do there?"

"I have an F-level adventurer license at the Adventurer Guild, and sometimes I also participate in monster carcass dissection at the guild."

This world is tougher than Earth. A girl her age already works so hard like that. If we were in my previous life, girls her age would probably just be forced to go to school, wearing uniforms regardless of whether they were poor or rich, because the government covered all educational expenses.

"Vans, where do you want to go today?"

"First, I want to go to the weapon shop. Do you have any recommendations for a good weapon shop?"

I want to buy an additional weapon as a backup, and most importantly, I want to buy a sheath for my sword.

"For the weapon shop, we can go to Holfier Company. It's the largest and most comprehensive weapon shop in this city, and it's also a branch of San-Holfier, the shop in the capital."

"Alright, then let's go to that shop now," I replied, agreeing with Livi's suggestion. Besides, she knows better, so I can't refuse her advice.

After finishing my breakfast, the two of us headed straight to the weapon shop.

We passed by several shops and stalls along the way, and sometimes I saw people with a sword hanging from their backs, a man carrying a long spear, and someone wielding a magic staff. They were probably all adventurers doing their jobs in this city. It truly felt like a fantasy in my eyes.

This city has many streets and alleys, and I would easily get lost without someone to show me the way or without a map. My detection ability is useless in this city since its radius is larger than the range of my detection ability.

Livi said that the shop we were heading to is in the central district of the city, quite far from the eastern district where I was staying. It seems like I also entered through the eastern gate yesterday.

After walking for quite some time, I finally arrived in front of a large white building with three floors. At the entrance, there was a symbol of the crossed sword and magic staff, with a shield behind it.

Just looking at it from the front made you want to enter, and the architecture itself was awe-inspiring. It resembled an ancient Roman pantheon.

When I entered, the interior was incredibly spacious. There were many types of weapons displayed in showcases, and numerous people were conducting transactions inside.

"Wow... this is huge," I was quite impressed, and this was only the first floor.

"Yeah... this shop won't disappoint you. Just make sure to be smart with your money here. If you're careless, you might end up losing a lot of it."

"What do you mean? Are there pickpockets or thieves in this shop?" I didn't feel the need to worry about something like that because all my money was safe in my dimensional storage.

"Hehe... that's not what I meant." It was the first time I saw her smile, and she looked sweeter when she did.

"What I mean is... well, it's better if you see for yourself an adventurer over there," she said, pointing towards an adventurer who was conducting a transaction with a shop attendant.

"Most adventurers get drawn in when they enter this shop because it offers a wide variety of high-quality weapons and magical equipment. Sometimes, without realizing it, adventurers end up spending their money to get weapons or magical items from here. Weapons and magical equipment are crucial for adventurers, and they're willing to pay any price to become stronger."

I couldn't respond to Livi's explanation. It made perfect sense, and it felt like a sharp stab in my heart because just earlier, back at the inn, I felt arrogant, thinking I wouldn't easily lose my money. And now, it seemed like I would lose a lot of money in this place.

"Enough, enough... don't worry about it. Just buy what you need and manage your money wisely because this place can make you spend any amount of money."

"Welcome to Holfier Company! Feel free to browse everything we have and don't hesitate to ask us if you have any questions." A young blonde-haired attendant greeted us warmly.

Finally, I entered deeper into the shop, exploring and looking at all the different types of weapons available.

  • Two Fate of Vans   The Death Battle

*Bam!The sound of impact echoed throughout the dungeon room as Vans' body collided with the wall behind him at tremendous speed. The wall itself cracked under the pressure of the collision, unable to withstand the force exerted by Vans' body. Surprisingly, Vans managed to survive such a powerful attack."Ugh... Damn it," Vans grumbled as he adjusted his posture after being hit. Despite his pain-reducing abilities, he could still feel the effects of the attack. It further proved the strength of the assault he had just endured. Even Vans himself acknowledged that it was the strongest attack he had faced since entering this world."How does my first greeting feel? Is it too harsh for you?" asked a man standing not far from where Vans now stood. Judging from his voice, he was a man, dressed in a black robe and wearing a black mask with white lines covering his face.He was the person Vans encountered upon entering the final room of the dungeon. The moment Vans laid eyes on him, he could

  • Two Fate of Vans   Meeting Other Visitors

Everyone finally decided to return to the guild after experiencing the previous battle. It was clearly a fight that couldn't be won by a D-ranked adventurer. Choosing to retreat was the best course of action rather than recklessly continuing. Our lives were currently the priority over a mission. As for myself, I decided to stay inside the dungeon to continue the mission. Everyone opposed me when I said I wanted to stay and explore the dungeon further. It was a natural reaction considering I wanted to remain in the dungeon. Some people opposed my wishes, thinking I made a foolish choice, while others were worried about my decision. It took quite some time to persuade the adventurers to return to the guild first and leave me here. I had to showcase some of my abilities to make them believe in my decision. I told them that my abilities had been acknowledged by the guild master and that my skills were comparable to those of an A-ranked adventurer.Reluctantly, Flitz's group and the others

  • Two Fate of Vans   Decide to Coming Back

The lack of a map or further information about this dungeon makes our current exploration even more dangerous and risky. Without any information from the guild, we have to rely on our own instincts and do our best to ensure our own safety with all the strength we have. The lack of sufficient information also prevents us from making plans for what we should do. We don't even know what kind of enemies we will face next, so we're currently relying solely on my detection abilities. This is the risk when exploring a newly discovered dungeon, which is why many adventurers refused to participate in this mission despite the high rewards offered by the guild. An adventurer wouldn't care about the amount of the guild's offer if it endangers their life. The Adventurers Guild also cannot force adventurers to join a mission like this. The guild can only compel adventurers to participate in a mission when it concerns saving a city from monster attacks or the rescue of someone very important. So, ad

  • Two Fate of Vans   A Swarm of Skeleton

Currently, we are standing in front of the dungeon entrance we're about to enter. Its location is beneath a tall cliff. The dungeon door is three meters high and two meters wide. At first glance, it appears to be a regular cave entrance, but the guild has determined it to be an underground dungeon based on reports from an adventurer who discovered it first. The entrance is covered with dense shrubs, and wild grass grows around the path leading to the cave. It's difficult for us to approach the dungeon as there is no established footpath. This location is truly untouched and unexplored.[Light Ball]I create a small ball of light to illuminate the path in front of us. It hovers and floats within my line of sight.Everyone prepares their weapons and fortifies their mindset as we slowly enter the dungeon. Walking in a single file, I am at the front with Flitz and his group, while the other group follows behind us. The guild assigned a cartographer responsible for mapping the dungeon's lo

  • Two Fate of Vans   Night Fight

Finally, after a quite long journey, we arrived at the dungeon that was our destination. It was a very long and tedious journey for me. We started the journey during the day, but we arrived at our destination in the evening. The slow pace of our journey made it clear how long it took for us to reach our destination. The first factor that contributed to our slow progress was the mode of transportation we used. Two horses were pulling a cart carrying six people inside, and that significantly slowed down the speed of the horses due to the heavy load. Additionally, the road conditions were terrible, further delaying our travel time. The dungeon's location deep within the forest also consumed a lot of time to reach. Moreover, the path we took was different from the main roads connecting cities. It could hardly be considered a proper road since we had to choose a path that our horse-drawn cart could traverse. There were no dedicated routes leading directly to the dungeon, as it was situated

  • Two Fate of Vans   Brainstorming A Plan

"Hey Vans, how can you also use magic? Since when have you been able to do that?"Nick had been asking me incessantly, bombarding me with various questions. Meanwhile, I kept my mouth shut, not giving any response because I didn't think there was a right answer to Nick's inquiries. Every time I provided one answer, he would follow up with more questions. He was the type of person who asked a lot and was stubborn."I just learned magic from the guild master a few days ago," I replied casually to Nick. That was a complete lie, wasn't it? Although I could use magic due to my innate magical talent, I had also learned some magical techniques from the guild master."A few days, you say? Are you trying to deceive me again, huh?" Nick complained.Perhaps Nick was still upset with me for lying to him about the sword I possessed. Besides, I had my own secrets that I couldn't share with everyone. If I honestly revealed them, he wouldn't believe me anyway. It would always be risky for me to be ar
