My sisters and I ended up talking that night, but we didn't end the facetime. We slept with our cameras on.

The next day I was the first to wake up while my two sisters were still sleeping. When I came down from my room, I immediately caught up with Manang Gina in the living room. It was still a bit dark outside, so I was surprised when Manang Gina was there.

"Oh, Z. It's too early; why are you awake?" she asked me immediately when she saw me.

"Good morning, Manang. I woke up really early so I could prepare for my first day of school," I explained to her.

She was cooking breakfast, and just the smell of what she was cooking was already appetizing.

"Okay, okay. I haven't finished the breakfast I'm cooking yet. I'll make you some coffee first," she said, which I immediately stopped.

"No, Manang. Just continue what you're doing. I'll take care of myself," I said, then smiled.

She just nodded at me and didn't argue anymore, so I started making my coffee.
