Chapter 48

"What did you do to her?!" I heard a voice growl as my senses finally started coming down to me.

"I swear I didn't do anything," I heard another voice chuckle as I whined and rubbed my eyes before I tried to stand up and immediately felt hands around my shoulders helping me up.

"Don't touch me!" I scolded when I saw Jason steadying me.

"Are you alright?" He asked in concern as I tried not to scoff.

"I'm fine!" I snapped as a headache started to form.

"Where is Xavier?" I asked Angelo when I didn't see the man in here with us.

"He doesn't know we found you," Jason replied.

"And why is that?" I sarcastically asked.

"Because he has not been home since you left," he sighed as I stared wide-eyed at him.

"Well, where is he?" I asked once again trying to sit comfortably as I placed my hand around my stomach and rubbed it as Jason's eyes trailed towards my hand.

"Leave." he growled at Angelo as he kept staring at my stomach which kind of made me uncomfortable as I squirmed in my seat. "How?"
