Chapter Fifty Nine • Meeting Alpha Asher

Caine and Cayenne were both driving to the mist moon pack with an awkward silence until Caine broke the silence with a question.

"I heard you have a son, where is he now?"

"Is none of your business."

Cayenne answered and faced the window.

"Sorry I meddle but who's the father of your son?"

Caine asked and held her gaze.

"Why are you asking?"

Cayenne retorted.

"I just want to confirm what I already know."

Caine replied with a smirk.

"Won't you talk about what we have in hand?"

Cayenne asked, trying to divert his mind to another topic.

Caine noticed what she was about to do and laughed slightly before he inquired again,

"I have confirmed it, but why are you on the run with your son?

Why not tell him that he has fathered a son?"

"I have told him but he denied his son.

At first I wanted to get rid of his Luna then come,comfort him and he won't have any other option but to accept me and his son.

But you came in and the plan changed."

Cayenne replied with a smile that didn't reach her eyes.
