ARIA'S POV

“Mrs. Weston.”

A distant voice pulled at the edges of my sleep. Somewhere far away, or maybe close. I couldn't tell.

“Mrs. Weston.”

I stirred and turned to the other side, blinking against the darkness behind my eyelids. The sheets were tangled around my legs, while my head pounded like someone had hit a hammer to it.

How the hell did I get to the guest room?

“Mrs. Weston, are you in there?”

Reed?

I dragged myself up, one hand pressed against my throbbing temple. The room spun for a

  • Two Times Mrs Weston    Right Into The Lens

ARIA'S POVThe car hummed softly as it rolled to a stop, but I barely heard it over the pounding of my heart. Through the tinted windows, I could see them: a sea of reporters, cameras, microphones, all waiting for me. Waiting to tear me apart. My hands were trembling, and palms were sweaty. My stomach churned like I was about to be sick. What the hell am I doing?Reed turned from the front seat, his expression etched with concern. “Are you sure about this?”I didn't answer.“It's not too late,” he continued, “We can turn around right now. Go back home and figure out another way.”I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.“No.” My voice came out steadier than I expected. “I have to do this.” He muttered something under his breath. Something about Xavier killing him once he finds out about this. Then his phone buzzed. He pulled it out and pressed it against his ear. “She’s here? Okay, tell her to wait outside.”“Who's that?” I asked. He gave me a small, mysterious smile. “You'll see.”

  • Two Times Mrs Weston    A Fighting Chance

IAN'S POVI paced the room like a caged animal, my phone balanced in the middle of the desk as Reed's voice crackled through the speaker.“The investors keep pulling out, one after another,” Reed said, his voice strained. “At this rate, we might not have any left by morning.”I cursed under my breath.“And Xavier?”A heavy sigh. “It's not looking good, uncle. We have just hours left until the board meeting. They're going to cast a vote to decide if he stays on as acting CEO.”My vision blurred with rage.My arm swept across the desk in one motion. The phone and laptop crashed to the floor. Files scattered in every direction. A crystal paperweight hit the wall and exploded into glittering shards. Kai walked in a moment later, a phone and laptop balanced in his arms.“Still nothing, boss. No one is responding.”“This is the tenth call in two hours!” I snapped. “And not one of them is willing to step in and save the day?”Kai sighed. “We only have a few left. And there's no way they'd…

  • Two Times Mrs Weston    A Temporary Setback

XAVIER'S POVThe phone pressed against my ear felt like it weighed a thousand pounds.“Mr. Harrison, I understand your concerns, but…” I started.“Xavier.” He said flatly. “I've been investing in Weston Group for over a decade. I've never questioned your judgment since you took over. Not once.”“Then don't start now.” I leaned forward, gripping the edge of my desk. “This is a temporary setback. A media storm. It will pass.”“A temporary setback?” He repeated coldly. “The board is questioning your leadership. Investors are pulling out. And you’re telling me this is temporary?”“It is.”“I need to protect my assets, Xavier. My family. My legacy.” His voice softened slightly. “I hope you understand.”The line went dead.I stared at the phone for a long moment. Then I pressed redial.“Mr. Harrison, perhaps we can…”“I'm sorry, Xavier. I can't take that risk right now.”And the line went dead afterwards.Another call. Another refusal.“We can… maybe give Mr Chen a try?” Reed suggested.I

  • Two Times Mrs Weston    A Fully Covered top?

XAVIER'S POVThe moment I walked through the door, i felt something flew at my face.I barely had time to react. A crystal paperweight flew past, its sharp edge slicing across my cheek before it shattered against the wall behind me. Pain flared across my face instantly, and warm blood began to trail down my jaw.“You idiot!”Victor's voice thundered through the living room. His face was red, veins bulging in his neck, his fists clenched at his sides.“I warned you!” He stormed toward me. “I told you that woman would be your downfall. I told you she'd destroy everything we've built. And what did you do? You insisted on keeping her. You paraded her around like she was some prize. And now look at you!” He gestured wildly at the screen of his tablet. “Look at what she has done to you!”I touched my cheek. My fingers came red with blood.Reed stepped forward, pulling a handkerchief from his pocket and holding it out to me. I took it and pressed it against the wound to stop the bleeding.“G

  • Two Times Mrs Weston    Not The Obedient Type

ARIA'S POVI stirred from sleep, my hand instinctively reaching across the bed to find Xavier's warm body beside me. Instead, my palm met cold, empty sheets. I groaned, blinking against the morning light filtering through the curtains.“Xavier?” My voice was hoarse with sleep. No response.I sat up, rubbed the sleep off my eyes, and looked around the room. His side of the bed was untouched. The pillows were still fluffed. He hadn't come to bed at all last night.I slipped on my robe and padded barefoot out of the room, down the stairs, toward the living room where I'd fallen asleep. The penthouse was too quiet. Zara must've left early because of work. Then I turned and saw them. The maids were huddled together in the kitchen, their voices low and urgent, mumbling something I couldn't quite make out. They stopped the moment they noticed me, their faces paling.“What's going on?” I asked, my voice still rough from sleep. They exchanged glances, none of them meeting my eyes.“I believe

  • Two Times Mrs Weston    The Golden Boy

XAVIER'S POV“What the hell is going on, Adrian?”I paced across my office, my phone pressed to my ear, my free hand running through my hair for the hundredth time. The headlines were still burning in my mind, every word a fresh wound.“Xavier, I know how this looks…”“Do you?” I stopped pacing. “Adrian, the entire world knows about the contract. The contract that was supposed to remain between us. So I'm going to ask you again… what the hell is going on?”“I'm as shocked as you are,” Adrian said, his voice strained. “Trust me, I've been trying to figure this out since I saw the news.”I started pacing again. “Who else knew about the contract?”“Only us. You, me, and my assistant.”I stopped. “And you trust this assistant?”“With my life.” Adrian's voice was firm. “I've worked with him for years. He's never given me a reason to doubt him. I wouldn't have entrusted something this important to someone I didn't trust completely.”I took a breath and tried to calm the storm inside me.“Fi
