Techno Corporation

“Sir, Sir. Our server has crashed! Everything is down.”

 Wes stared horrified at the IT guy that rushed into his office.

“Then what are you standing here for? Go fix it! Why do you need me to tell you that?” The veins on Wes’s neck stood out.

The guy looked down at his shoes.

“I – I can’t”

“Is this company full of morons?’ he thought to himself.

“What do you mean you can’t? Why are you the head of the IT department if you can’t fix something so straightforward?”

“Sir. This is more complex than I have ever seen before. It looks like an outside source has done this– this is beyond my knowledge.”

Wes closed his eyes, “Can you speak English? What outside source? How is that possible? Didn’t we buy the best program out there to prevent this? Are you telling me the company wasted money!”

“It must be an Elite hacker sir. Hopefully, they will contact us soon, and tell us what they want. Normally they are after money.”

“Are you telling me I should wait? That is your plan to WAIT!”

Wes noticed his assistant standing at the door.

“Speak!”

“Sir, all our orders have been frozen by Targo.”

Wes immediately stood to his feet

“What do you mean our orders have been frozen by Targo? What about those we already paid for?”

“They already returned our money. They said they are canceling all future deals with us until further notice.”

Wes slowly sat down. His cell phone started ringing on the table. In a daze, he picked it up and glanced at the caller id.

“Father?” He answered.

“What have you done? The company shares have started to tumble. What have you done?” His fathers asked

Wes looked at his watch seeing that there was only an hour left before the engagement party would start.

“I will fix it,” Wes said and ended the call.

Alice arrived at the reception. Dressed in a long black crystal dress that showed off her figure. Her hair was loosely braided and decorated with white daisies. Her elegance and beauty had the people in awe as she entered the hall. She saw Jackson standing by a table talking to shareholders of his company, so she walked toward him.

He noticed her as she approached,

“Wow, but you look breathtaking tonight, Alice,” Jackson said with a smirk

“Thank you, Jackson. You also look handsome.”  

Jackson looked down at his tux…

“Nah this?” He pointed to his suite.

“This does not make me look handsome. I always look handsome no matter what I wear. Tell me, to what do I owe the pleasure of your presence?”

Alice smirked at Jackson,

“Our business will increase with Targo. A little gift to Targo, to show our appreciation.”

“Thank you. Please also thank your father on my behalf, we appreciate your business,”

Alice looked at the door, and as anticipated. Wes came storming into the reception. He saw her and marched right up to her. Before he could get near her. Khan blocked his way.

“Dear, I am so pleased to see you could make it to our engagement party,” Alice said,

“Ha, you still think I’ll want to marry you after what you did today? You must be crazy! I told you before our engagement is off. I will never reconsider.,”

“What did I do?”

Wes pointed his finger at Alice

“You!”

“Me? You are the one that is calling off the engagement. What did I do?”

“Of course! It’s off! Listen here you bitch. I know everything that happened today at Techno was you!”

“Oh, is that so? You are accusing me? How can you go around accusing people like that? I am sorry to see your company shares have dropped. But how can that possibly be me? Isn’t it maybe because of your little scandal?” Alice asked.

Wes clenched his fist against his sides as he glared at Alice.

“I will fucking kill you.”

“Oh come on Wes. Can you please stop with the threats and the accusations?”

Wes was in so much anger he forgot about the people around them. He only had one thing on his mind. He wanted Alice to undo what she did to his company.

She sounds of two people kissing echoed through the speakers. Everyone turned and looked at the white screen behind them.

“It’s Wes and… I cannot make out her face. Why did they blur out her face?”

“Oh my goodness, They're taking off their clothes.” Murmurs went around the room.

Wes turned to Alice,

“TURN IT OFF. NOW!”

“Accusations again,” Alice said

West took a step forward.

“That - That is my fucking wife. Lolardo, a Mafia leader screamed out.

The blood in Wes’s veins turned cold. He turned toward the screen. He watched in horror as the video that was showing displayed the woman's face. He watched the videos changing one after the other. Revealing every woman he had ever slept with. Showing in detail how he made love to them. People stared astonished at the screen.

“I am so glad you told me to be here Alice,” Jackson said as he clinked his glass against hers.

Wes stood frozen. His eyes darted around the room at the husbands of each wife he slept with. He glanced at the door but the leader's men already blocked them.

Wes turned to Alice. She smirked at him showing him she enjoys every moment. This was the only time he ever saw her smile at him. If you would call that one.

Alice slowly walked up to him.

“I am not done yet. This is only the beginning.” She turned around and walked out of the reception hall.
