018 - A Beta's Fate, An Alpha's Destiny

SOFIA.

I lay on my side and watched as Dominic’s chest rose and fell. We settled into bed after the wonderful moment we shared in the bathroom, and I eventually fell asleep. But I woke up before the sun was up and was now reveling in the god-like man sleeping beside me.

I had no idea how Darvin would take this. I told him I would pay the Beta a visit, but I never told him I would stay here. And here now, I don’t think I will be able to get away from him. I didn’t want to. Being in his arms felt surreal, but I knew this was what or where I wanted to be.

I let my eyes wander to Dominic’s perfect features. He was sleeping peacefully — he had one arm under his head and another arm snaked around me, where my head was resting while my legs were entangled with his.

I raised my hand and trailed my fingers down his chest, still mesmerized by the hardness of his chest. He was ripped in all the right places, and I felt so lucky because I was the only one allowed to run my hands all over him.
