ASHLEY POV

“Why do I even have to wear makeup jem? You knew that my face should be hidden right?”

 I asked Jeremy who stormed herself from meeting with her relatives when she knew about our photoshoot. She looked at me with irritation, “that’s it, Ashley! The only thing that can be seen on you was your eyes so you need to make more beautiful, tantalizing… like a gorgeous but mysterious vibe!” she said continuing to put some eyeshadow on my eyelid.

 “But that is for girls!” I exclaimed. She stopped and give me a look, “then what do you think you are? A boy?” she asked irritated. “Just because you have to hide your gender doesn’t mean you have to stop being a girl, Ashley.” She added and continue putting colorful powder on my face. “But you know I have to make myself look like a boy, and you damn know the reason, Jem,” I said. “I can’t be seen wearing makeup” I added.
