UNKNOWN GAMER (a game of love)

CHAPTER 1

ASHLEY POV

They believe that playing games is merely a diversion. however, some claim it to be a hobby or pleasure. Some did it for enjoyment or entertainment. Some even claim it marks the beginning of dissipation.  

"The Baron Nashor will reappear in 30 seconds. Standby. They'll try to gank with their jungle. cling on. In 10 seconds, my ult will become ineffective. "

[For the forthcoming League of Legends world championship, the YGHB organization announced that they are seeking new talent. Everyone is allowed to alternate between them and take their turn.]

When it comes to it, there are numerous sayings. I don’t have time to mention all of that.  

[  Also announcing their hiring was The TXT. Everyone wants to take home the trophy.]

"Support the ADC and come on TOP, jungler. In the bushes, hide. Be cautious. Their midlaner is not visible to me. Top their ADC is headed in your direction.

However, there is one aspect of games that I don't agree with...  

[The company BLKQ offers the best compensation. The players who are selected are lucky. However, based on our sources, their crew is almost fully assembled. The MIDLANER will fill the open job. And things are difficult for them there. Because the midlaner has the hardest job in the game and requires great burst damage. So they need to discover the best midlaner if they want to defeat everyone else.]

 “When I use my ult, support stand by; jungler enter the battle. Top push the turrent.”

It was that playing games is something that only males do. What can males do that a woman cannot, then? It is essentially the same.   

"My third ability is almost complete. I'm arriving.

And I will prove that.  

"ADC, let's handle them. Support, back us up. Top, push the base. Victory! “I grinned.

I, Ashley Gray Hansons will prove it. 

I raise my arms and gaze at the screen. How much longer do I have? Ugh.. 37 hours remain. It seems unlikely that I will ever get enough shut-eye to meet my quota.

If you're wondering what that's for, I make a living through live streaming.  I'm a game streamer, not just a regular streamer. Despite having graduated from college, I prefer gaming to my studies. Just the fact... It eliminated the fun I had.

Even though I'm a girl, I enjoy playing, therefore I made it my career. While earning money, I'm having fun. Double kill, I assume?

I'm a girl, but nobody knows that. In the Philippines, there is an unusual system. In this situation, female gamers are ridiculed and told that e-sports are exclusively for men. Simply cute and untalented, hence I go by the alias black masked. They can actually see this on my live broadcast. I have a dark bonnet and mask on. Everyone believed the subject of their admiration is a male.

I grin as I read the comments on my live feed. They were all complimenting me. And to think that men are complimenting me—I just adore it. When they learn that the player they respect is a woman, how will these guys react? That's definitely awesome, haha.

Suddenly, something appeared on my screen.

Hmm .. What is this? I opened it even though I saw an unusual mail with an unfamiliar address. Ohh….

I read while leaning against my chair. I just heard on the news that they were looking for a midlaner, and now they want to hire me. As I type my refusal, I shook my head. Although joining would have been enjoyable, it is not possible. I can't be made public. I can't let them know that I'm a lady.

I grinned as I looked at my username. Philippines server; top Yasuo. In addition to everyone emphasizing how difficult it is to utilize this champion, I've even managed to master it, which is a great accomplishment for me.

I take off my cap and mask and log out of my account. Before standing up to get a drink, I stretched. To refresh, I need some cold water. I regarded the refrigerator.  What do we have, then? hmmm... 

Ring, ring, ring.

Someone is calling. Just as I reached for my water, I heard a ring. very likely Jeremy. I swipe in response. “ ow?”

[I've been phoning you, so don't ow me. I wouldn't have realized that you were being live-streamed if I hadn't gone online.] I could hear the irritation in her voice right away.

My older sister lives alone. Our dad supports her desire to experience independence and further her profession at the age of twenty-seven. The only person who is aware of my identity is her. She resembles a parent more so than my dad. She is more stern and tough. Even so, I can still sense her effort to make me forget about losing our mother, who passed away from cancer three years earlier. And what occurred was a major setback for us, which is one of the reasons I can't leave Dad by himself. I was looking for another diversion to help me forget, and the game was it.

"I win right," I grinned.

[whatever.] I can picture her rolling her eyes. Haha. Anyhow, I'm idle. Let’s go shopping]

I chuckled. It appears that someone has recollected the ex. Every time she stalks her ex, this is what happens. She remains in love with him.

Maybe it's okay to unwind for a little while. Today, I also want to make a purchase. "Meet me right away." Before hanging up. I stood up to get dressed. Last night, I was still donning it. I went downstairs and saw my dad watching TV by himself. I laughed as I descended the stairs as heard that the e-sport news was looking for applications to join their team. "Don't tell me you plan to join that dad?"

"Speaking of, why don't you apply?" he said as soon as he turned around and stood up to come over to me. The pay is reportedly very substantial. I scowled. "Really, Dad? It appears that you don't reside in the Philippines. You don't appear to be aware of how they denigrate female gamers. claiming that all we did was flaunt our tits and that we are just cute. " I shook my head.

The smile in his eye adds, "Then prove them wrong. My daughter is a very good gamer. A pretty and amazing gamer. Just not taking a bath," he stated while pinching his nose. He laughed and gave me a hug after I growled at him with a grimace. “Even If my child doesn't take a bath, she can still smell good. He said, and I gave him a long, furious stare. He laughed as he said, "Don't just change your clothes, take a bath too." I pouted and moved away. "Heh, Dad, get some sleep."

“Where are we headed? Get me some dried mango," he said with a smile didn't mind what I said, and I chuckled since he already knew where and who was with me. "It's just me Dad," I said in jest.

"Yes, that's OK. Shut the door. "I uttered just before leaving the room. He continued, "No boys rule Ashley," and I just nodded. "Yeah," He continues to oppose my dating. Although I am 20, it is still prohibited. But who really cares?

 Jeremy, who is currently having ice cream with me, questioned me, "Are you serious?" I shook my head and pulled my phone from my pocket, displaying the BLKQ gaming email.

Her eyes are growing larger as if she were about to yell but held back. “Ash, oh my god! You are extremely blessed! One of the most prominent companies chose you! That’s BLKQ Gaming! Oh wow!” she remarked happier than me. "So, are you going?" she inquired. 

I frankly said, "I do want to participate but my gender prohibits me.

“However, you are aware that when it comes to playing, that is the best approach to promote our flag. “

I gave a headshake. “No. That is not feasible in this nation. I'm unwilling to take a chance.

She exhaled deeply, asking, "Are you sure? Will you even think twice? Your role is well-liked among players. " She continues. I responded indifferently, "I don't have a choice.

She didn't say anything other than to shrug her shoulders. I tried to change the subject by asking, "How about you, what did you see when you stalked your ex?" She let out a big sigh. He's already taken my spot. He has a girlfriend already. ”

"So why don't you just move on?"I inquired. She is strong thus it stings to see her in pain. "I tried, but I always failed," Blatantly responding. I shook my head and finished my ice cream before continuing. "What about it is so difficult?" I shook my head and finished my ice cream before continuing. "What’s so difficult about it?"

 She shook her head and gave me a bored look. She added, "You won't know until you experience it," and I just scowled. Since the sound of success thrills me more than anything else, I have no knowledge of what love is like. And just watching her act problematically makes me want to avoid the situation. My world is the game.

When we heard a scream, we turned to face one another. “What's that?"
