Alina fumed as she watched the video sent by Amy on her phone. It was a combination of the sweet moments that Eloise and Vaughn had shared as well as Vaughn’s statement—that Eloise was the only woman for him.

Her breaking point was the part when Rose told everyone that she wouldn’t be able to get close to their money even if she does marry Vaughn in the end.

From the start, she thought that this was a good idea—that by following through with the surrogacy plan, Vaughn would finally inherit his parents’ company, and she could live a life filled with nothing but luxury.

But watching the video made her think otherwise.
