I sat in the kitchen drinking my coffee, listening to Lucy rip into Killian. How are they even mates? He sounds like he doesn't get her at all. I guess it will be easier than I thought to win her over. My father never put much value in the mate bond. He thought a strong pack was more important. I didn't necessarily feel the same way, but I would choose Lucy in every lifetime. She is sassy, wild and has a great sense of humour. We could be happy together. I slipped out of the kitchen catching the end of Lucy's rant as she ran up the stairs.

Ellen POV When I told Victoria about the baby, she immediately made me take a dark magic to cleanse tonic and put me under a purification spell. I was awake but my body was paralyzed I don't know if that was what was supposed to happen but I felt stronger with Axel in the bed next to me.
