Ellen POV 

When I told Victoria about the baby, she immediately made me take a dark magic to cleanse tonic and put me under a purification spell. I was awake but my body was paralyzed I don't know if that was what was supposed to happen but I felt stronger with Axel in the bed next to me. When he did wake up he didn't leave my side him and Maddox took turns sleeping on the couch beside my bed. I was starting to feel my magic return and I felt lighter. I was finally able to sit up and speak. I hadn't even had a chance to tell Maddox about the baby, as soon as we were alone I was going to tell him. Watching him sleep with his head on my belly I wonder if maybe he already knew, with his wolf hearing maybe he could hear their heartbeat. 

I wiggled my toes hoping maybe Maddox would wake up on his own and I wouldn't have to move him. Before I could even wake Maddox, Axel was at my side checking my temp and giving me water. 

"How long was I out?"
