VICTORIA

Victoria POVAxel asked me to go over all the security measures, make sure everything was effective and efficient. I found holes in about every one of their departments. I rerouted all their security cameras and alarm systems to a backup server that could not be tampered with. AXEL POVLast night patrolling the border with Damon was a lot of fun. I like having a brother. I was really struggling with if I should tell Lucy about Daman asking so much about her, but I really didn't want Astrid to freak out and kill my only brother. DAMON POV Lucy was still mid-vision when she collapsed on the ground, completely exhausted from what she had just endured. "Lucy? You awake?" I shook her lightly. She slowly opened her eyes. She flung her arms around me and held on like I was a life raft. After about a minute, her breathing slowed, and she pulled away, wiping her tears. She apologized and stood, brushing the dirt off her legs. "No sweat, you okay?" "ya, fine!" She turned away from me, clearly embarrassed. "it's okay if you aren't fine, Lucy. You don't have to be tough for me." I reached for her arm, turning her around and pulling her into my chest."Just take a minute. I am here. No one will hurt you." She started sobbing quietly. I don't think anyone ever comforted her. From what Axel said, she liked to be left alone, and I think everyone just gave her her space. What I know about tough, strong women is they just need to know they aren't alone.
