The Mind is a Loud Place

We found a busy pub nearby the hotel to hunker down into. It was full of men and women who were there to get drunk and socialize. I wasn't much into either unless it was for special occasions but training technically was one of those.

Lee, being a vampire had no desire to drink. Rakesh ordered himself a beer and me a cider, though I admit, I preferred something more flavourful if I was going to drink but the idea wasn't to get drunk or have fun, it was to train so I didn't complain all that much. It would make the illusion that we were just another group of friends out on the town, so to speak.

"There aren't any other vampires here," Lee spoke quietly between the three of us, "so it should be safe enough for you to train on the humans right now, my lords." He seemed to be rather calm and collected but I could tell that he was slightly uneasy. "Though be wary, Hunters could still be among these people."
