Long awaited mate

Avery rolled her eyes at how bossy he was being so early in the morning, he walked in and sat on the single chair that was in the room, Avery followed closed the door and went back to her bed.

“You’re still in your pyjamas?”

“Is there a problem?”

“And you are aware it’s almost midday?”

“So what?”

“I see you don’t have plans on leaving your room today”

“Yes, yes I don’t, who knows I might step outside and get myself killed”.

“Avery c’mon don’t tell me you’re letting yesterday get to you”

“I shouldn’t? Karl sorry alpha Karl. Shouldn’t I let it get to me? Didn’t you hear what that lady said? Or whatever she was”

“I did, I know she said she couldn’t see the entire truth but at least we learnt something didn’t we? I don’t think we shouldn’t sit down and sulk on it, do you?”

“I don’t know, I mean I couldn’t sleep at all last night, why are they even after me in the first place? I mean if I was an important person, shouldn’t there have been a good reason for them to have done this to me?”
