"Riya's Point of View,"
I'd just walked out of the office building. My office was about 30 minutes away from my home.As I lifted my hand to halt the auto-rickshaw, the horn of a car approaching from behind drew my attention; "Oh, Is this Harsh?""What exactly is he doing here?" I moved over to Harsh's car, drew back my raised hand to stop the auto-rickshaw, and stared at it, bewildered.I often tell Harsh that he should come outside my office and pick me up, but he never has enough time to stand outside and wait for me.Although seeing Harsh's smiling face makes my day's exhaustion go away, I am surprised to find him in front of me like this.I should be glad to see him, but I'm not sure why I don't like it when he comes today."What are you doing here?"As I stood outside the car, I inquired. He peered out the window of his car. As he opened the car door, he looked at me affectionately and said, "I pick you up.""If you had called and told me, I would have come out early," I grumbled. He would be the one to start the car. "How long have you been here?" I inquired as I fastened my seatbelt. He said, looking at his watch, "for half an hour."I realized I'd left the workplace exactly half an hour earlier.Harsh would not have had to wait as long for me if I hadn't gotten Rachit in the lift."I'm very sorry," I whispered as I took his hand in one of mine."I've been waiting for your yes for four years in college." He added affectionately, "This is nothing compared to that time.""Really?" I responded, grasping his palm."Yes," he said, keeping one eye on the road and one hand on the steering wheel. He turned around and drove away, without taking the route that led to the house."Are we not going home?" I wondered."No," he replied."Then where are we going?" I shifted my gaze and asked another question."We're going to have dinner outside," he said sternly, "and we will accomplish the plan that I canceled yesterday today.""Why?" I inquired."Because I know since how many days you want to have dinner outside," he said, his voice stern. And after listening to him, my attitude toward him was like, "How do you know because I didn't tell you?""Riya, who loves with a pure heart, always knows everything there is to know about their lover without having to tell them."As he responded while parking the car, I stared into his eyes.I was ashamed of what I had done only minutes ago. But, after exiting the car and smiling at him, we both entered the restaurant, and he handed me the menu card as we sat in a chair facing each other. When prompted to place an order, I chose my favorite Pav Bhaji, while Harsh requested two cold coffees while ordering his favorite noodles.I stared at him, perplexed, and asked "why?"He had referenced our previous dinner date. "You were sitting there insisting on drinking cold coffee, so I assured you. You could drink it after your cold was gone.""Do you even remember this thing?" I asked, looking at him again, shocked. "Everything you express, what you say, and what you don't say," he said. "I remember: what did you wear last night?"I nervously rolled my eyes as he replied in a playful tone."Do you want something else?" the waiter asked as he stood in front of the ordered items on a plate, placing the order on the table. We exchanged a shaky nod, and I instantly turned into my regular office gossip with him, which he enjoyed. Because I used to tell everything about it, it well acquainted me with Harsh with everyone in my office. He was familiar with every member of my team to where he could recognize them even if they passed in front of him, thanks in part to my extensive description of my workplace. He had informed me frequently that it related him to people, although he had met none of them.He asked about Rachit hurriedly. "Did Rachit not come to work today?"My face changed color as if my thievery was to discover and it had caught me. Maintaining my composure, I responded to his question."Y... yes... yes, he was coming.""So, why aren't you providing me with any new information about Rachit these days? What exactly went wrong?"When he noticed my worried appearance, he inquired, "Is everything okay?""Yes, completely everything is in working order," I responded in a hushed tone."Rachit is now preoccupied with his work and cannot converse effectively at this moment."Then I reminded him, "Hey, I forgot to tell you it's important," to redirect his focus away from Rachit once more.As the glow on my face returned, he queried."What?""The most recent breaking news In a cinematic tone, I added, "foremost, with Riya's fastest reporter."Harsh was well-versed in the material from my monologues. He recognized I was a happy-go-lucky person who needed to maintain that state of mind in the long run. We've been together for the past seven years, so he'd be familiar with the situation."Are you going to tell me now or will you keep me guessing?" he inquired."Just after the break," I got up from my chair in the same dramatic manner as before to use the restroom."I'll be there in five minutes." I left the table to use the restroom, and Harsh called the waiter, paid the bill, and then waited for me to return. As soon as I returned, Harsh rose from his chair and inquired when we could return home.I nodded, picked up my handbag from the table, and walked out of the restaurant with a smile on my face."Riya's point of view,"It was after 10:00 p.m. by the time we got home, and traffic in Gurgaon is so horrendous that it takes an hour to get there that neither of us remembered to discuss the important news.Harsh pushed through the main entrance and turned on the lights in the hall.I also took off my shoes before entering the house. As soon as the bedroom door opened, I ran to the bed, leaving my laptop bag and handbag on the side table, and lying down, telling him how fatigued I was today."Me too," Harsh said as he was going to change his clothes in the washroom, to which I answered, "Well, come back soon, I have a lot to talk about with you."Waiting for Harsh to return, I took turns on the bed from here to there. I got up and started headed to the washroom to change clothes as soon as he returned."Why are you running away from me so much today?" he questioned, grabbing my hand in his.It blew away the color of my face once more after h
"Riya's point of view,"The beep of my phone's alarm clock disturbed my sleep.I snoozed the alarm and went back to sleep.Harsh yanked himself out of his slumber and spoke to me."Riya, it's 7:10 a.m., wake up.""What?"In disbelief, I sprung to my feet and dashed to the restroom.Harsh knocked on the restroom door and called my name."What do you want?" I asked sternly."Could you please share the bathroom with me?""I'm also running late," he said, his puppy eyes flashing at me.I responded quickly."Why not?"We brushed our teeth together, and I resisted my urges by walking to the kitchen and leaving him alone in the bathroom. To make it drinkable, I heated the water. I fetched the bread from the fridge for sandwiches and sliced the vegetables to make vegetable sandwiches while I waited for the tea to be made and drank my glass of water... I clean up the leftover teapots that have been lying around all night.
"Riya's point of view,"As soon as the lift door opened, I rushed to the biometrics. However, when I arrived at work, I am thrilled at my minor victory; It had prevented me from being late even today.I said "good morning" to Ashish as soon as I walked into the office."Good morning," he said with a smile. Are you excited about your Shimla vacation? ""How's it going?""All good," I said as he asked the question."Will you join us on Sunday for some shopping?" I inquired, my voice hushed as I looked around. "Harsh was also considering meeting you."Ashish was the one who responded. "I'll join you guys, okay?""Have you signed this document?" Ashish said as he took the file and handed it to me.This strange question perplexed me.As Ashish waved towards Rachit as he entered the corridor, I pouted, saying nothing.I retaliated by snatching the file from Ashish's clutches."No, I'll double-check the file before signing it
"Riya's point of view,"I was about to leave when I noticed the pantry boy delivering a tray of coffee from the front. As he on the entrance of Rachit's cabin, the pantry boy said, "Madam, your black coffee.""The meeting has ended. I'm on my way to my cabin. You've arrived late."Bring it back, I complained."All right," the pantry boy murmured, a mournful expression on his face as he looked at the coffee mug.Rachit inquired, gazing at me. "Do you want to sit with me and have a cup of coffee?""It's OK, Sir," I said obstinately, "I have some essential work to do.""It would be helpful for me and my team to see the file with your testing results so we can figure out when the product will be out."Rachit spoke out, his tone was authoritative."Of course," I said as I sat back in my chair as if I didn't have a choice.Rachit smiled at the pantry boy and said, "You're free to go."Pantry Boy then went away after thanking him.
"Rachit's point of view,"As soon as I walked inside the office, my gaze was drawn to Ashish and Riya, who stood in front of me.When Ashish noticed me, he motioned to Riya, who took the file from Ashish's grip and said, "I'll check and sign it."When I saw both of them, I smiled and said "good morning."Together, they wished me a good day.Riya was not talking to anyone else in the office anymore, but whatever she was talking about with Ashish, they stopped chatting as soon as I arrived.I didn't appreciate her talking to Ashish like this at all, but I know my boundaries, so I stared at her carefully, saying nothing.A tiny smile appeared on my lips when I saw her. While walking with her to her cabin with the file, I inquired if she was available at 11:00 a.m., as I wanted to discuss something about the new project. While entering her cabin, she gave me her approval.I invited her to meet me in the conference hall at 11:00 a.m. on my way to my cabin.Be
"Riya's point of view,"After leaving Rachit's cabin and returning to my own, I breathed a sigh of relief.I sat in my chair and drank the entire bottle of water in one sitting.I couldn't believe it had all happened a while ago; was it real or a dream?"What is Rachit attempting to do to me?"I am not a puppet in his hands, allowing him to do whatever he wants to me; I must inform the P.O.S.H. committee.(To prevent cases of sexual harassment, a workplace council was made up.)Wait!!What will I say in front of the P.O.S.H. committee?Rachit kissed me twice, despite my protests.Did I truly want to?Of course.Rachit touches me, and my body reacts to his movement. My body shivers with the force of his heated breath.Okay, the last two times I had my choice, but today he forced me.How can he try to compel me to do something I don't want to do?My subconscious chided, "Come on, Riya, even when you closed
"Rachit's point of view,"I tried very hard to concentrate on my job after Riya had left my cabin. My focus kept returning to her.I'd never seen a girl like her before. I'm constantly being pushed to my limits by her. There's something about her that makes me want to approach her. When she speaks to me while staring me in the eyes, lightning flashes through my body.As I get closer to her, my desire to get her grows stronger.I'm not sure if I'm attracted to her or if I have stronger feelings for her, but it doesn't matter to her because she's already in a relationship.Just thinking about Riya with someone else made my heartbreak.I need to put some distance between myself and her. I will not cause her any problems. But I can't seem to stay away from her any longer.I needed to speak with her, so I took out my phone and dialed her number.I expected her to remove my number from the blacklist after I became so enraged, but that stubborn girl has
"Riya's point of view,"I didn't give a damn about what the office gossip might have had to say about Rachit and me right then.Rachit understood all I wanted was to have lunch with him, and he wanted to assist me in de-stressing.We sat face-to-face on the chair, which was already set up for the lunch table preparations.Although I was no longer enraged by him, I continued to express my dissatisfaction with him regularly. He inquired, his hand resting on mine. "Do you still have a problem with me?"Instantaneously, I yanked my palm away from his grasp and declared, "No, I'm not.""So, what's the deal with you being so deafeningly quiet?" He expressed himself in a solemn tone."Do you mean to tell me I'm excessively chatty?" I retorted with great vehemence. In his explanation, he said, "I did not mean it, I assure you, and I apologize. You always seem to get it wrong with me.""Okay, I put an end to the squabble and returned to my me
