Nick awoke, startled. He looked around and noticed he was on the floor. Then all the things that happened earlier started to flash back in his mind; the unknown pearl, the blood writing on his bedcover, the mirror, the dead body filled musty place, another blood writing on the mirror, then everything turned blank-no black!!! Extremely black!!! - "Oh crap! I zoned out like a sissy, a girl, a baby!!! What the heck happened here? Why did I fall into a trance?! " Nick asked no one in particular, totally confused. He looked around, his inspection was cut short when his eyes fell on his safe, on it lay to his horror, blood, splattered all over it and a rotten skull on the top of it! 'No! This is a lie! ' Nick rubbed at his eyes, the horrific splatter of blood and the skull still remained there, then it began to rattle, to shake, to vibrate, to float, to crack, to open, to-.

"Hey son! What's up? We heard you screaming a while ago. You had your once in a blue moon horrific nightmare again right? " Nick's dad asked barging into his room. Nick noticed that the blood and skull had completely disappeared! He was stunned! "Um....... Yeah, sort of, only that it felt extremely real." Nick sighed devastated. "Don't watch horror movies again, Nick or should I say Master Horror-Nick! Hahaha! That sounds cool, right dad? " Chloe said with a fit of her annoying giggle Nick literally hated most on earth if you knew. "Enough, birdbrain! " Nick shouted, annoyance written boldly on his already annoyed face, which was annoyed earlier by that unknown beast somewhere writing that bloody crap. "Hey! Careful boy, this is another warning, stop using harsh words on your little sis! " Nick's dad scolded. "But dad! She's the one who started! " Nick defended, "And so what! " His father shot back. "Honey! Children! Breakfast's ready! " Nick could hear his mom's voice from a distance, probably the kitchen or the dining room. "Ok, fine dad! I'm sorry!" He paused to give his sister a menacing glare, meaning a warning that he'd finish her off later, but she just stared back at him with a big goofy smile plastered across her little but big head. He then continued, "It's just that I'm quite disturbed because of my dream, " Nick said trying his best to look tired even though he already was.

After breakfast, Nick cleared the dishes and once he was done, he skipped wildly up the stairs, into his room. When he opened his room door, a gush of creepy chilly breeze washed over him which opened another door in his body for a stupid migraine, threatening to take over him. He slowly and quietly walked over to his safe, opened it and took out the pearl. He was curious to know about the whereabouts of the pearl and how it got here. He decided to try his luck by summoning the old man of earlier which he still hadn't seen.

"Hello! Pls, I really need to talk to you, I don't understand what's going on, " Nick called to the pearl ( I know it sounds weird, but he was actually trying to talk to the unseen old man he met earlier in the basement). Suddenly, the pearl shot its blinding blueish glow across the room which made Nick duck again. The old man's voice spoke-"I've told you what to do, but it seems you'll not listen. Anyway, I will answer your question just this once, what would you like to know? " , "Um... I don't get why I was chosen, I don't get why this pearl is here, " " It's because of the secrets behind this pearl, I've got no other choice but to tell you. This pearl you see now in front of you has been in this house for half a millennium, that means this house has been here for a higher number of years than the pearl landed here. There was a war in Transville, a country which is no more because it was destroyed by the war. The captain who declared the war was Captain Edrek Mathias, which is me right now. I declared it because I was threatened by one Dr. Mario Mc'Vida who is still alive now because of his evil powers. Before the war, I had to sell off all my belongings and treasures because it was meant to be given to someone instead of just destroying it. I sold everything off except this pearl that my father gave me. During the war, I was killed by Mario, who then took the pearl and put some powerful spell into it that anyone who lays his hand on it would be troubled till they die. My wife and children were kidnapped by him. He tortured them like animals. Then I appeared to them and told them to escape with the pearl. They did so. Mario chased after them both physically and spiritually until they lost the pearl. One Mr. Octavio Jones found it and sold it, he died, another found it and also died. So that is how it kept on going till it reached here. It has been here for over forty years since the house was rented. So as you have found that pearl, so must you destroy Dr. Mario Mc'Vida! "
