"Dad, I've got a question to ask you, a question I supposed to have asked you earlier like yesterday," Nick told his father as they were loading their stuff and luggage into the car."What question son?" Mr Phillip queried."Where are we moving to?""Uh oh! Sorry, didn't announce that earlier, we are actually moving to New York City," his dad answered."Wow! But dad, yesterday, did you actually travel to New York to get things ready?" Nick asked confused."Oh Nick, don't be silly, how can I go to New York City in a day and come back all the way here that same day?" His dad paused to shut close the trunk of the car, "I actually saw the house when I went for my business trip last week, I liked the house and it looked so beautiful and slightly spooky in a gorgeous manner because of the paint and cobwebs 'cos the house has been vacant for a long while now... I guess, " he stopped once again to

Nick awoke, startled. He looked around and noticed he was on the floor. Then all the things that happened earlier started to flash back in his mind; the unknown pearl, the blood writing on his bedcover, the mirror, the dead body filled musty place, another blood writing on the mirror, then everything turned blank-no black!!! Extremely black!!! - "Oh crap! I zoned out like a sissy, a girl, a baby!!! What the heck happened here? Why did I fall into a trance?! " Nick asked no one in particular, totally confused. He looked around, his inspection was cut short when his eyes fell on his safe, on it lay to his horror, blood, splattered all over it and a rotten skull on the top of it! 'No! This is a lie! ' Nick rubbed at his eyes, the horrific splatter of blood and the skull still remained there, then it began to rattle, to shake, to vibrate, to float, to crack, to open, to-."Hey son! What's up? We heard you screaming a whi

It was dusk already and Nick and his family, were having dinner together at the dining table. Nick was bothered with the trouble he'd have to face but the rest of his family had no knowledge about it. Nick didn't want them to worry, so he decided to bring up a conversation. "Mom, dad, after this holiday, which school are Chloe and I going to? " Nick asked. "Oh, yeah, son. I totally forgot about that. Nick, you're now in grade seven right? And Chloe, grade three? " His mom questioned. "Yeah mom. So, which school are we going to? " Nick asked again. "Stop pestering us. You still have two months to go before school starts. So, before then, we would consider and arrange that. " Mr. Phillip assured. "Dad, I wanna go play some video games, " Nick announced after he finished his meal. "Ok bub! But do sure come back to clear the dishes! " His mom chirped. Nick went up his room to relax his mind by playing a car racing game. He sped off at the start, others following behind. He was

Nick was totally scared and decided to summon Edrek back into his body. Immediately he touched the pearl, the glass-like board fell, landing horizontally, which made it crack and shatter around the room in million peices. Nick's parents came rushing up hearing the sound in their sleep. Like before, the debris vanished, leaving no trace of something supernatural. Nick quickly grabbed the pearl, searching for an empty pocket on his plaid pants, to hide and also secure the pearl from his parents. "Nick, what made that noise? Did anything break? Did you hurt yourself? Did you destroy anything? In fact, why are you awake at this hour?! " Nick's mom asked him a lot of questions at the same time, panting out of fear. "Um, mom, I heard the sound too. It's not from here. I think it came from the neighbors next-door. " Nick lied. "Oh My God! I almost had a heart attack. I thought something happened to you, " Nick's dad let out a sigh of relief before continuing, "B

*Now*"Yes! That's why I was chosen. To get to use my powers to save the world!" Nick whisper-shouted before opening his eyes to see a portal right before him. In the portal, he saw his parents and his sister tied up beside a pool of blood just like in his dream. Maybe his third power might be to see what will happen in the future. Nick was totally sad seeing his family in such a situation. How am I going to reach them? How am I going to save them? Nick asked in his mind."I will help you. Now you know about your powers, think of the word you like best. The thing you can never live without. The dearest thing to you." Edrek advised in Nick's mind."I know. My family," Nick replied out loud."Ok. Now, do as I tell you. You need a teleporting portal to teleport you to your parents. So, think of what you want whilst holding the pearl in your palm. Then swing your arms with the pearl in a circle for
