Chapter 6: Rivalry

Eva hung up smiling happily. She knew that she would bag the thirty percent deal. She kept the phone in her pocket and looked at the ruby's in fron tof her. She was in a metallic dorm that required security passwords to enter. It was indeed a miracle that she entered such a secretive dorm without breaking any bones, except for one that was laying at some corner of the dorm.

He was Mr Davis, the man behind the production of the auction and ofcource the man behind stealing the rubies. It was obvious that he was a theif so there was no problem for Eva to knock him off. Eva had already done her research last night and she knew about the production team and the big shots behind the event and she even caught her prime focus staring at her.

All Eva had to do was to lure him with her body curves and he was all behind her. The fun part here was, he deliberaytely took Eva to the secret locker room filled with jems where nobody enters so that his reputation isn't ruined.

Inside the locker room, the moment he touched Eva's ass, she used her elbow to knock him with a huge thudd on chest and he went unconscious. Actually, Eva didn't check wether he is dead or not. She was just too excited to confirm the deal of her profit share with Damon.

Happy Eva was just collecting her precious rubies when the metallic gate dragged open and closed. She knew it was time to fight now but she really regretted the fact that she have to leave the rubies. With her gaze fixed at the door, she saw a man of a good height in a grey coloured designer suit enter. He was smiling as if he knew that there was already somewhere in here,

"you can continue picking up your rubies, I am here just to talk", Johnas said.

Eva smiled the moment she recognized the man. She collected all the rubies in her purse and was in a rush to leave harmlessly when Johnas continued,

"However, to let you off here safely, you need to pay a price".

Eva had no expression on her face. She could actually sense the dark intentions so she rolled her eyes to look at the man she has just knocked off. Johnas followed her lead and saw the  famous man lying on the ground barely breathing. He enjoyed Eva's charm and answered,

"Well, it was for your own good. I recognized you the moment I saw you with Damon and it didn't take me much time to realize what he could actually use you for", Johnas said.

Eva was running late. Her calculated time was leaking and she knew that she will be caught if anything wrong happens. She looked at the gas chambers above and those allow poisonous gas to leak if any suspected activity is recognized. Mr Davis has been missing for a long time and that would attract the visitors too, so without wasting any time, Eva spoke,

"name your price"

Meanwhile, through Eva's watch, David was able to capture the conversation and he had already informed Damon about it. Damon knew that Eva was sensible enough that she wont fall in Johnas's traps so he asked David to chill but the moment he heard Eva call upon for the deal, he became furious.

"be mine, let me taste you", Johnas said.

Eva breathed deep because she was well aware of this. She said yes and both Johnas and Eva left the dorm. However, Damon on the other hand had his fists enclosed aggresively such that his own nails tore his fles apart to bleed. Eva reached near Damon and she took a classy spot beside him smiling. She slowly got closer to Damon and whispered in his ear,

"the works done"

"I know", Damon answered sipping his drink in one gulp.

He held Eva's arm and pulled her out.

"Hey, stop.... that's hurting", Eva said.

However, Damon turned deaf ears to her and moved out. He pushed Eva into the car and got in himself. He hadn't notified the driver nor David. Both Eva and Damon were alone in the car.

"look if you are angry about thirty percent, then I dont regret it", Eva said to make the things super clear.

"how can you be such a slut that you willing to do anything for money?", Damon questioned.

Eva was instantly offended. She held Damon by his blazer's collar and pulled,

"you better mind you language", Eva stated.

"Oh... so it should be me zipping my tomgue while you go use your tongue to suck what Johnas offers... huh?", Damon said.

Eva raised her brows and laughed. Till this time, she didn't realize that the watch was causing a scene but the moment she understood the rage, she started laughing. Her laughter was infuriating Damon more.

"So, why do you care, you got what you wanted", Eva said controlling her smile.

Damon looked in her playful eyes,

"why are you pretending to laugh?", He questioned.

Damon could see that Eva herself was not in a mood and she got no reason to burst into laughter but she was just doing it to ease things. Eva stopped laughing and looked back at Damon.

"the deal is over", she announced in the deadly silence.

Damon didn't want to let her go. Eva handed her purse to Damon by keeping it on his lap and broke the eye contact, ready to leave. Damon held her arm and pulled her closely and kissed her. He rubbed his lips against her  and held her face tightly to kiss her.

Eva was stunned. For a second, she froze and allowed Damon's lips to prepare a gap between her lips so that he can have a wider access, but after a second, she pushed Damon and slapped him hard.

"you bitch, Johnas invited you on his bed and you agreed and now look at you, a slut trying to prepare for an innocent phase", Damon accused Eva.

Eva wiped her lips in frsutration and moved to slap Damon again but this time, Damon held her by her arms and got over her.

"I will ruin you such that you wont be able to climb Johnas bed, or any other man's bed ever", Damon said.
