“You shouldn’t be here, you know?” Theodore finally broke out of his shock, “Who even let her out of prison? I preferred it when she climbed the bars like an animal.”

“So you saw me?” Aurora said, “You heard my threats and still didn’t show up like I asked.”

She put both elbows on the table and supported her chin with her interlocked fingers. “Hmmm, I wonder why.” Her heart began to beat fast, and she felt fear creeping in, but she didn’t show it one bit.

She pointed at him, “Don’t tell me that you were too chicken to show your face, scared of what this animal could do to you?”

She opened both hands in the air in demonstration, “‘The young master, beaten by a woman’ An embarrassing headline, don’t you agree?” She looked at him unshaken, barely touching her food. She wanted to put Theodore in his place first.

“Enough!” Bianca shouted. This was enough to cool down the boiling heat.

The servants who were beginning to feel scared for Aurora wished they would just disappear, rather than wi

“Take a good look at the sheets in your hand,” Aurora’s voice rang clear. “These are the documents you’ve given us. Now compare them to what’s on the screen. You’ll notice,” she pointed at the screen, “that these red marks show the discrepancies in your submission. What you see doesn’t match what’s in the paper you’re holding.”The room was silent for a moment, but the opponents began murmuring among themselves. One man who seemed clearly flustered stood up, attempting to challenge her.“This is absurd,” he snapped, waving his sheet of paper. “These errors could just be... formatting issues. You can’t seriously expect us to believe this is deliberate.”Elena slowly sat upright, wanting to take over from Aurora, but Aurora wasn’t going to make Elena feel she wasn’t good enough to handle it.She did the findings and had mastered the backing of her claims and evidence when she was preparing to bring them to Elena. So, explaining wasn’t an issue for her.Aurora’s eyes narrowed as she rais

Aurora paced about nervously in the restroom. She blew into her sweaty palms as she stood and stared into the standing mirror. She had taken a big decision without even thinking about it.‘I know I can do this.’ She thought. But doubt crept in, “Can I?” She asked, but her reflection stared back at her in response. What was she even thinking? That such a job would come without any risks?Even though she really wanted it, it still shouldn’t be at the detriment of her safety. She hesitated. At that moment, she heard something,‘Do you know what’s worse?’Her voice, sounding very low, came upon her as a reminder as she looked at her reflection.“The feeling of regret.” She said with assurance. And that was all she needed to put herself together. She smiled, “Yes, I can do this.” Adjusted her clothes and stepped out, ready to face the world.Aurora swallowed nervously behind Elena as the door to the boardroom opened. The room before her was grand, with a large TV on one wall, a round table

Theodore’s heart pounded as he glared at the entrance; his fists were clenched tightly. His emotions were a burst of anger, frustration, and guilt, and he fought to contain them. His throat tightened with the weight of everything he wanted to say to his mother, but he feared the consequences. His gaze softened as he looked back at Moira, her broken, battered body lying helplessly in front of him. Her swollen eyes, busted lips, and the bruises and broken bones told the story of her torture.Moira’s weak murmurs only made Theodore’s guilt grow, as he wasn’t there in time to stop this.Bianca, totally disgusted at the gestures of her son, angrily turned and left.Quickly, Theodore pulled out his phone.“I need squad G to the mansion’s prison ASAP, for a secret extraction. Get the vehicle ready and call the doctor. Most importantly, the master must not know about any of this. Also, get the S.C.S. for clean-up immediately.”“Stay with me, Moira,” He softly whispered, “Help is on the way.”

Bianca was in her room, sipping on her tea, when Theodore barged in.“Son?” She raised an eyebrow, “I could’ve been naked.”“Where’s the butler, mother?” Theodore’s voice was cold, and his eyes, stern as he stood tall in front of his mother.“And why would I know?” Bianca sounded detached.“I’m not dumb, mum.”“You aren’t?” She smiled mockingly, “Then why ask me something so foolish?”“You’ve done something to her, haven’t you?”“You think I don't know how to put someone in their place? Since I couldn’t get to her nitwit directly, I found another way.” She smirked and looked at Theodore. “Smart, isn’t it?”Theodore hesitated.“Maybe it’s time to actually start warming up to Aurora,” Bianca shot a look at Theodore as he continued, “She isn’t bad at all, if you get to know her.”“I forbid it.” She sounded coldly,Bianca’s eyes narrowed as she stood slowly, towering over him. “What’s happening to you, Theodore? Have you been bewitched into standing up against your own mother?”He glared

Ingrid, with her claws, ripped and shredded Moira’s clothes, not minding the marks that went with it.With each landing slash came the sharp scream that filled the room, and the blood that came out of every injury slowly started to form a pool.Bianca smiled at the satisfaction. When Ingrid was done, Moira was covered with some bits of shredded clothes and her own blood. She hugged herself, feeling embarrassed as she had been exposed.“This floor is a mess.” Bianca said, “Lock her up in the mansion’s prison, turn off the air conditioning, and increase the heat, enough for her to sweat profusely.”“Yes, madam.” Some servants bowed and slowly held Moira, assisting her in her fragile state.“I see you idiots want a taste of this.”With this, they hurriedly carried her out of the room.“Good job, Ingrid,” Bianca said, “Come, sit.”Ingrid went to a seat close to Bianca, slowed down her panting.“I knew you had it in you.” Bianca smiled. She pointed at another servant who stood close.“You,

The unsuspecting Moira entered the room where she had been summoned and greeted both Bianca and Ingrid, but got no response.“Know this today, Ingrid,” Bianca said, coldly glaring at Moira, “It gives such a satisfying thrill when the tortured doesn’t know the reason for being tortured.”Ingrid slightly smirked.“Take the first hit,” Bianca ordered, and Moira’s eyes widened, not knowing what was going on.Ingrid, unsure of what to do, gave Moira a slight slap on the face.“Don’t tell me you’re weak. How are you going to lead the pack like that?” Bianca shot at Ingrid, who fidgeted with her fingers in pretense, looking at Moira.“Right now, she represents the very person you despise,” Bianca added, “the reason why you were ignored throughout the night. Let her feel the pains you went through.”Her voice was stern and emotionless.Ingrid, feeling a little angry, slapped Moira across the face, so that Moira winced, closing her eyes.Bianca scoffed and stood up.“Let me show you how it’s d
