Chapter 3

I wake up from sleep with a sore head. Sunlight had entered through the window. For a few minutes I stare at the ceiling in my room, trying to remember what happened last night. Girls party to welcome my best friend, Suki's wedding day. I drank a lot, and can't remember anything other than how amazing the party was.

My smile disappeared when I realized it was 11 o'clock. I immediately got up from the bed. How could Harvey not wake me up to prepare his clothes and breakfast?

I hurried downstairs while calling out Harvey's name. As soon as I opened the garage door, instead of finding Harvey I met Sean who was repairing his motorcycle.

Reflexively I stepped back. I completely forgot that he had been staying here since yesterday. Sean looked up because my presence had bothered him. I bit my lower lip in fear. It seems like it has become a habit every time I make eye contact with him.

"Looking for your beloved husband?" I ignore the sarcasm. I better go back in to take a shower. But suddenly a screwdriver was thrown right into the wall beside me, and suddenly my body froze. "Use your little mouth. Answer my question."

"Of course I'm looking for my beloved husband. There's no reason for me to look for you, loser."

Honestly I was scared, but Sean was going too far. I haven't attended parties and had fun in a while. But see what Sean has done? He easily messes up my good mood.

"Loser? Ah, at least you like sex with this loser, don't you?"

"I'm sorry, but Harvey is much better. My husband is good at making me scream in bed." I laughed derisively.

Sean touched my wrist roughly. Getting Sean Ackles mad is the easiest thing. I had time to feel good about his jealousy towards me, until he tried to force my clothes off.

"What are you doing?!"

"You lost your mind, baby. So I'm going to prove that you prefer sex with me until you beg me to fuck you again. You won't be able to walk after that."

"You're crazy!" I slapped him because his words were so condescending to me.

There was no gap left between me and Sean. Now his big hands are pressing my cheeks firmly. "Don't you remember what happened last night?"

"What do you mean?"

Sean didn't answer, and just pushed me into the seat of the motorcycle. He took off my shirt making me want to try to run away. But Sean had more power, he even managed to tie my hands on the gas and brake pedals.

"No, Sean! I don't want to have sex with you anymore!"

My refusal was only on the lips, because my body was stupidly enjoying Sean's touch. I don't want to be naive but everyone has wild fantasies, including me. We always have sex in places that aren't normal, and I quite like that. The sad thing is that my fantasy came true because of my husband's younger brother.

"Give it to me." Sean whispered.

I squeeze his shoulder, and my stomach feels something familiar. "Ah."

It didn't take long before Sean's head pulled back. Besides that, the sweat made the tattoos on his body even more manly. "You're amazing."

Sean untied my hands. He kisses me passionately, then our fingers clench tightly. Unlike our first sex which ended in chaos, he now looks more relaxed.

"Do you want to take a bath together?"

I hid my face against his chest and nodded shyly.

---

"Were you okay last night?"

Suki's question confused me. I brought the cellphone closer to my ear. Was she worried because I drank too much last night?

"I'm ... ok." I answered doubtfully.

Sean who just came out of the bathroom immediately kissed my neck. The smell of Harvey's vanilla shampoo makes me uncomfortable. My guilt is getting worse. I pushed Sean's hand away as he tried to take off my bath kimono.

"No. Suki is calling me right now." I said without making a sound. Sean sighed, then left the room in annoyance.

"So where did he take you last night?"

Suki kept on discussing the same thing.

"I was drunk yesterday. Harvey must have brought me home."

Oh really. I don't know what exactly Suki is talking about.

"Are you crazy? We're talking about Sean, not your husband!"

Wait, Sean? What really happened?!

Suki finally told me what Sean had done. Sean had apparently come to Suki's party and took me away. Even if I hear it drunk, it still doesn't make sense. I mean, Sean only cares about himself.

"Are you two in a relationship?" Suki's interrogation. "I've said it many times. Sean is obsessed with you. I can see he still wants you, Angel."

"Are you kidding? Sean is my husband's younger brother. Do you think I'll have an affair with him?"

I laughed to hide my anxiety. Suki's words sounded like 6 years ago when Sean and I just got to know each other. In my first year of college I had my first love, and that person was Sean Ackles.

"Once again I remind you to be careful. No one understands Sean's mind."

After Suki ended the conversation I fell silent. Before marrying Harvey, I had gotten rid of my feelings for Sean. But why am I starting to feel unsure about myself?

A video call from Harvey appeared on the screen. Immediately I picked up my cellphone and showed a fake smile.

"Hello, honey. Have you had lunch?"

I’m out. Too violent and the mistreatment seeming “normal” is too much. Narcissistic and wrong.
