SEVENTY FIVE

Malvika decided to stay in the hotel today. She encountered massive disappointments the previous day and she didn’t want a repeat. Besides, she and Haley made plans to catch a late breakfast and Haley has already said she would meet her in front of the hotel. Malvika certainly thought that was better than going on another fruitless job hunt.

So, instead of waking up early like she did yesterday, she slept in late and woke up around eight o'clock. Then, she went to take her bath and freshen up, after which she slipped on some clothes she thought was proper for going out with a friend. It was a red tank top and a black mermaid skirt. Then, Malvika sat down and waited for Haley.

Haley didn’t drop a phone number. She only said to meet Malvika at the hotel, so Malvika assumed she would come to her room. However, Malvika didn’t know how long Haley would take.
