Nick’s POV

I’m at the office right now, speaking with the investigator I hired to look into my father’s death.

“I’ve looked into all the angles surrounding your father’s death. Almost all the CCTV footage from the areas where your father’s car passed through were missing,” he said.

My eyes narrowed at what I heard.

“But I did find three houses that had CCTV footage. Luckily, I was able to retrieve copies from two of them. The third no longer had a record since it happened nearly 15 years ago.”

I nodded. He opened his iPad and showed me the video.

“If you’ll notice, there were two cars tailing them. It’s not that obvious because they kept changing lanes.”

I tried to find out who owned those vehicles, and to my surprise, one was registered under a well-known politician. The other belonged to a prominent business tycoon. He showed me their profiles. The politician is known for his projects for the poor, and the businessman runs several foundations, also supposedly for the poor.
