Nick’s POV

After five days, Andrea and I finally returned to the country.

It took us a while before we could come up with a proper arrangement.

But I still remember her outburst… the night she came home drunk.

I was busy working on my laptop when the doorbell suddenly rang.

I glanced at the clock, it was almost 1 a.m.

Only then did I remember Andrea. I’d been so absorbed in work I had forgotten all about her.

When I opened the door, there she was, Andrea, drunk, sitting on the floor, slumped against the wall, hair disheveled, bottle in hand.
