Damon's POV

My hands remained still on the handle of the door where I had tried to open the door. After Miss Kardashian had left after our good time together, I found my way to the cell and found out that Samuel had gotten the girl out of the cell without any regard for my order.

As I made my way to her place, I decided that I was going to ask the man why he kept defiling my order when it came to Evie. And, of course, I was going to ask that she be returned to the cell. But now that I was actually standing by the door, I didn't know what I wanted to ask anymore.

I managed to walk in on when the Gamma was asking about Evie's relationship with the guard we caught at the cave. From the way my Gamma was asking the question, I knew he was stylishly trying to see if Evie was truly guilty of charges by the guard. And from the explanation she made, I wasn't sure of what to believe anymore.
