Chapter 37: Cod015 Followed Her Ex-Husband

We waited a few hours at Jeff's parent's house. I was hoping that I would see my children before this day was over.

“Jenn, do you think your kids are here?” Lie asked.

“I don't know. But we'll wait at least an hour.”

“Even Jeff doesn't seem to be here either,” Haressa said.

“Maybe he's still on duty.”

“Can't they move to another house?” Lie asked.

“Perhaps you're right,” I agreed.

It was six o'clock in the evening, we were still waiting to catch a glimpse of my daughters, but we were disappointed.

“Jenn, let's go back tomorrow,” Haressa suggested.

“All right,” I agreed.

We left and looked for a hotel in the city. We took two rooms, one for Haressa.

“Let's eat first before going up to our room,” I proposed.

We entered the restaurant, there was a lot of food in front of us, but I didn't feel like eating because I was thinking about my children.

“Jenn, you didn't touch your food,” Lie said.

“I have no appetite.”

“You need to eat at least a little to keep your body strong.
