Everywhere was dark. Not the type of dark that comes from closing your eyes, but the type that wraps around your heart, your soul, your inner being, cold and endless. I didn't know where I was, or if I was still alive. I couldn't tell if I was breathing or not.

I felt so weightless, as though I was lost in a place that held me captive still. I tried to leave, but it didn't want to let me go.

Then Suddenly I saw a flash. It was Trisha.

Her face appeared in pieces like shattered glass forming a whole. A gun was pointed at her, but I couldn't tell who it was that pointed the gun.

"NO!!!!!" I shouted as the hand shot her.

"Trisha No! Don't do this."

I rushed to her. "No, no, don't do this," I pleaded, my body shaking in that memory.

Her voice was trembling as she spoke, though her grip on my hand was firm. "I'm sorry," she whispered and slowly closed her eyes.

"Trisha, please, I'm not mad at you, I promise; we've not gone to the Maldives, don't do this, please."
