~Grayson's POV~
"It's been three fucking days since you all were out, looking for my daughter! Where the heck is she? How the fuck you let her cross the borders in the first place!" I growled as loud as I could. The collar of the head warrior of the pack was between my palms. He was in charge of the borders of the pack that night. He told me that I had nothing to worry about and he had everything under control, then where the heck was my daughter? "Maybe she went to one of her friends?" Another idiot said from the back. I turned my glare on him. "You think I’m a damn fool?!" I snapped. "I can feel every fucking hit she’s been taking!" Her pain wasn’t just in my head; it was real. Each wave of it tore right through my chest. Every blow she took dragged me further into the dark. She wasn’t just gone. She was suffering. And I couldn’t do a thing about it. I’ve never felt this helpless. Not once in twenty years. I kept her safe. I raised her with my own hands. She was my light in a world full of chaos. But now? Now she’s out there with some unknown bastard hurting her, and I don’t even know where the hell to look. "Dad, every clan is looking for her, but I don't think that will be enough. We need an urgent meeting with King Talon," Damien said. The vampire king? "We have a treaty with vampires..." Hailey said. Her eyes were red. Not because she was a vampire, but because she had been crying ever since she lost her that night. She was the one chasing Aliyah with her unbeatable speed, but Aliyah, being a hybrid and having the speed of two creatures in her, left her vampire mother behind and disappeared into thin air. She blames herself for the pain that our daughter has been experiencing over the past three days. Hell, I blamed her too, for a second. But this wasn’t on her. It was on me. It was on all of us. "I don't think they give any fucks about the treaty. They attacked Stella and Aliyah when they were in the city," Carter said. We brushed it off, thinking that they must be rogue vampires, but now, I don't think they were. I clenched my jaw, "Call Asher and tell him to bring that leech king's ass in front of us." I dashed out of the packhouse and shifted into my wolf mid-run. My muscles stretched, bones snapped. My paws hit the ground hard as I charged through the forest. If those bloodsuckers had anything to do with my daughter’s pain, I’ll slaughter every last one of them. ****************** ~Louis's POV~ "So when are you planning to return?" I asked my father over a video call. "Why? You can't handle the responsibilities for a year or two?" He chuckled. "I don't think we want to be there anytime soon," My mother smiled at me. That's exactly what I wanted to hear. Sometimes, it feels good to see two vampires in such a deep love that I feel cringe. However, I always feel happy that my father loves MY mother more than any of his past lovers. 'Why won't he? She is his mate...' The inner voice in my head said. Mate... Why wasn't I mated to Michelle? She checked all the boxes. She was cunning, smart, deadly, and most importantly, a vampire like me. My mother's giggles reached my ear, and my attention went back to my phone. She was smiling ear to ear while standing in front of the Eiffel Tower. She was the only sweet and kind vampire between all the bitchy vampires of this kingdom that I used to feel she wasn't born to be a vampire. Well, she wasn't. She was a human. And I am sure that was setting her apart from this cruel vampire world where she stepped in after meeting my father and turning into a vampire. But Aliyah... My mother was my father's dream, but she was my worst nightmare. I still haven't figured out what I will do with her. I can't keep her here any longer. Neither can I kill her. "Where are you lost, Louis?" My mother asked. "Nothing... I gotta go. Michelle is waiting for me," I answered. The disappointing sigh of my parents made me chuckle, but my mother beat me before I could brush it off, "You need to find the right girl for you. She might be with you for years, but she isn't the one for you." I chuckled, "Dad found you after a millennium. What makes you think I would find my mate in just one century?" "My human born heart," She smiled at me. Well, she wasn't wrong, though. "And when you find her, make sure we are the ones to talk to her first, and if she is a human, then you know how to take care of her. With love. With patience," Father said. As if that was possible. I disconnected the call after a while and sat back on my chair, I needed to find a way to let Aliyah go back to her family and avenge Abel's death differently. Maybe Damien’s mate will be the best one to target. But that ass hasn't found his mate yet. A loud scream filled pierced my ears. So loud, so raw, I felt it in my bones. It wasn’t just a yell. It was pain, fury, fear... All packed into one soul-piercing cry. It was Aliyah. Who the fuck touched her?~Louis's POV~ Every time I saw someone drowning in pain, my heart jumped in excitement, and their screams for help and mercy sounded like a melody to my ears. But this time... I felt stabbed in every inch of my body. Her screams echoed loudly through our long hallway. She was a floor below mine, but still, her voice was so clear that it pierced right through my soul. I could feel the metallic smell from far away. It wasn't my first time smelling blood, I played in blood since I was born, but her blood... It was intoxicating and alluring. But at the same time, it was filled with pain and fear. The scene in front of me gave me chills, which I thought I would never feel in my life. Hilda had her sharp, pointy pencil heel dig into her foot while Clark was holding her neck. Her neck... "Did you bite her?" I asked, holding myself in the best possible way. "A bite was just a start. I will her fucking her rip her heart out and send it to her family." I don't know what t
~Aliyah's POV~ **I had no idea what it felt like to be touched before... My back was turned towards him, but his silent presence, cold body against my warm one, was enough to remind me who it was. His breath was warm, just like his presence around me, but his fingers were cold. Though his fingers were cold, still his mere touch on my bare back, igniting the unknown fire inside me that craved for more. An unknown feeling started to settle between my legs, giving me that ache that didn't feel painful at all. I felt the area between my legs tightening, asking for more touches, or maybe... Touches down there. His fingers were tracing my back, making my heart race and my breath heavy. For the very first time in my life, I felt what pleasure with pain feels like. My lower was throbbing and wet at the same time. The fire that my body held just to get more of him and all of him only kept rising. The slightest distance between us, with his soft breath against my flesh made me squirm a

~Louis's POV~ This feels like a crime. Never in my whole ninety-nine years of life, the thought of finding or wanting my mate ever crossed my mind. My life was perfect the way it was, there was no need for me to be bound with a girl who was not even from my race. What the fuck was that? A hybrid? Out of all people in the world, a hybrid was chosen for me? Fuck it, Michelle is a hundred times better than her. A groan left my mouth as her furious red eyes and beautifully draped in black dress body flashed in my mind. She is beautiful... Her mid-length hair was messed up, and her makeup was all over the place, but still, the aggression looked perfect on her tall body frame, which was showing off her sexy curves. Though she was pretty messed up from head to toe, she still looked beautiful. And she still does... I know what I desired and wanted my whole life, but she was never a part of it, nor could she become a part of it. She doesn't belong here. She doesn't belong
~Third Person's POV~ Louis knew the elder Knight siblings, Liam, Emily, and Grayson were elemental wolves, but knowing Aliyah was also like them was a shock for him. That meant Carter and Damien were also elemental wolves. Now, if they found where Aliyah was and who captured her, then a huge fight would unfold in front of their eyes, which wouldn't be a good result for vampires. 'I'll make sure no one finds where Aliyah Knight is,' Louis thought. He thought of making a move to get a hold of the angry elemental wolf in front of him, but the thunder and harsh wind told him not to move from his place. Aliyah was furious. So furious that she knew she could do something that she wouldn't want to. She was so focused on her mate that she didn't notice when one vampire stood from the ground and bit her arm. The pain of fangs piercing her smooth skin made her yelp, but more than that, she was angry. Lizzy, Aliyah, and even Ellen... They were all in rage. Ellen always sank
~Lizzy's POV~It was great that we only shared different souls in one body. If any of us could touch each other while being in one body, we would have died inside this one body multiple times. Controlling Ellen has always been a big task. She can't overpower me when I am in charge of this human body but Aliyah, I feel bad for her dealing with Ellen. She has to keep her mind sane while I find the way out of this creepy place. I was on alert; everything around me was dark and dead silent. It felt like no one lived here but that wasn't the truth. I could smell a lot of different foul smells of vampires. No voice was coming from any hallway. It was becoming a little challenging to find a way out because every hallway seemed similar. Only the portraits on the walls had different men and victims in their clutches. The whole place was painted black. Even the floor tiles were black. The only colors this place had were red and a bit of yellow in the lights. I don't get how people liv
~Aliyah's POV~ The face of the guy holding my hair wasn't visible to me but the way he was dragging me back into the room I escaped and laughing at me, I knew I wouldn't be able to escape from his clutches easily. "Please stop," I begged. "He must have said the same thing," He yelled at me and threw me on the ground. What the fuck was wrong with this guy? And more than him... What the fuck was wrong with him...? Slowly turning my gaze back to the man who was destined to be mine, I winced. His eyes were shining in the brightest shade of red and his fangs were out. He was glaring at me as if I was a piece of meat. Tears poured out of my eyes. I get he is a vampire but don't vampires love their dearest? Or my mother was born because of some default in the vampire race? "Why are you doing this with me?" I asked. Muffled cries and tears came out of my eyes as I sat straight. I faced my mate and the darkness in his eyes made me gulp. He looked like he could eat me aliv
~Samuel's POV~ I may be a nightwalker, but I don't lure my prey into my trap from the shadows. I attack from the front, not from the shadows. I don't know how Louis was so confident about that bitch coming to us on her own, but one thing I am sure about, I will make her scream for mercy till her throat gives up and her family dies at least ten times a day in a year. It's been thirty minutes since I was waiting a mile away from the Dark Moon pack with my three men but there was no sign of her. Whoever will guide her to us, they better do it early because now I was losing patience. Soon, I saw a girl dressed in a black dress running in my direction, and I smirked. The same honey skin with honey blonde hair and tall height... My time with this girl is going to be way more fun than I expected. I heard some footsteps approaching her while she ran fast and I quickly took the handkerchief out of my pocket. Nodding to my men real quick, I approached the girl in a second and took
~Aliyah's POV~ The black dress was hugging my body perfectly... The dress looked so perfect with thin straps and all the black threadwork on it in a floral pattern I felt like I was attending some award show instead of a birthday party. My honey eyes were a perfect match for my honey skin and with gold smokey makeup on them, they looked like those beautiful dreamy eyes. I applied brown nude lipstick on my lips to complete my soft glam look and smiled, I didn't care about the names that the vampire inside me had given me; I knew who I was and how I looked. Beautiful and confident. "Confident, huh? You look as dreamy as your pathetic delusional thoughts," Ellen mocked. "At least I have different and meaningful thoughts than you..." I growled. Being annoying was her thing, but after today, she makes me want to get rid of her as soon as possible. "Don't let her affect you... You look stunning. Don't worry, we will get rid of her," Lizzy calmly said, making me smile. At least
