Evangeline was holding a glass of water for Pocco, she was returning to the living room yet she was taken aback to see what was happening to Blake. She saw his fangs and his eyes that manifest a desire to devour blood.
She gripped the glass tighter, tears suddenly stream down her eyes, she was worried, yet couldn’t move any step towards him.
The moment she saw him turning his face to Pocco and ready to suck his blood, she whispered, “Please, don’t, please, Blake... I know you’re a good person, please prove to me I’m not wrong. That I’m right in choosing you over my duty as an Angel.”
She knew that he was not able to hear it, but she didn’t whisper it for him to hear her beg, but it was from her mind that came out to her mouth.
