Chapter 22 A new discovery

Within fraction of seconds, Ethan reached into the forest and sat on the log where he and Alice sat last time. to pass his time he started playing games on his phone. In few minutes Alice reached the spot sweating and panting.

Ethan saw her and said “I could have picked you from your home. You are so tired.’

Alice looked at him still trying to catch her breath and said "Never mind. I have something important to show you”

Alice took out the phone from her jeans pocket and browsed to phone gallery and opened one of the photos. Ethan’s eyes were open wide seeing the picture. It was a picture of the golden book.

“From where did you find this?” Ethan asked

Alice narrated the entire incident.
