"Excuse me?" my mother said while putting a cake tin into the warm oven.
"Umm Haydon told me to tell you that he invited some friends over from Italy to umm stay here?" I said sounding totally unsure.
"For what purpose and why was he talking to you again. Doesn't he have a life?" my mom said while flicking her long straight black hair away from her eyes.
"How must I know mom. I don't read minds like you do." I said sarcastically. She burst out laughing.

KATERINABlood. Blood everywhere. I was so badly beaten that I could hardly even stand up. I wasn't angry though. Haydon was too good of a fighter for me and he wasn't even angry or in a state of lost control yet and I could see that he wasn't even trying to hurt me at all. He was holding back and being his own kind if 'gentle' on me. But his version of gentle was still dangerous. KATERINA"Where are we going to Haydon?" I asked as we drove to who-knows-where?Haydon and I walked to Jeremy's house and borrowed Luke's car. By walked I mean that Haydon forcefully put me on his back and ran to Jeremy's house because someone- not naming names- broke a few of my bones."Katerina, can you be patient?
