My eyes follow Strawberry as he drives out of the house, the gates closing once he's gone. It's afternoon when a car honks on their frontyard and Alex is the one who drives the Mercedes. He's still the same. Quiet with a dinner jacket on and his face in it's usual expression as he says "Lady Vanilla" I can't ignore the relief I feel to know he's still the same "Hi" He opens the passenger seat for me while I stare at my reflection.
