Venom entered his room, his footsteps deliberate. As he approached his bed, a sense of unease prickled at his senses, the hair at the back of his neck standing at attention. He paused, his sharp eyes scanning the room. Nothing seemed out of place, but his wolf told him otherwise. And he always trusted his wolf.

He took one more step when a shadow emerged with a gun trained in his direction. "You’re dead, asshole," the stranger said coldly.

But Venom only smirked. He moved with preternatural swiftness, grabbing the intruder’s hand and twisting it with precision. He pulled his bone crunching strength at the last moment. The man let out a pained screech.

"Ahhhh! Let me go! You win!" the intruder winced. Venom released him but kept a watchful eye.

The man turned around, rubbing his wrist. "Can’t you let me win just once?" he joked with a lopsided grin.

"Not a chance. Train harder instead," Venom replied curtly before cracking a rare smile.
