Chapter 109: Death Certificate

"I'm driving," I told him as soon as we reached outside the Aiden's house, making our way towards the parking area.

"Fine with me," He replies, "But whose car are we taking?"

"I'm comfortable with my car so let's take that one," I suggested and he nods.

We both jump into the front seats as soon as we reach my car. I was starting the car while Noah was busy pressing a button that makes his upper part of seat push back. It was almost like he was sleeping on a bed but in a car.

A few minutes passed in silence before he slowly pulls his seat back up and says,

"I think I'm actually fine now,"

"Want to eat something?"

"No Layla. We are already late. Let's just speed up," Noah suggested.

He was right though. We sended everyone to thier destined location earlier and then sat and talked for 15 minutes straight. So it was only fair if I speed up and that's what I did. I picked up my speed but not that much because there were still plenty of cars on the road.
