Filip's guards grabbed me from my den and pulled me outside. I reach out to the walls and grasp them so that I may never be taken away.

"Stop resisting!" they yelled at me. "You have to follow Lord Filip's orders!"

"Like hell, I would! Your master's a lunatic!"

One of the guards removed my hands from the wall, causing me to slip away and get dragged by them. I hit them repeatedly with my limbs, but due to their tight grip and robust bodies, I was not able to skitter away.

Their grips tightened on my knees.

"Save your energy for Lord Filip," he said. "He will be upset with us if you continue to misbehave as you did yesterday. One of our comrades had lost his life because of you."
