Chapter 24: The Past (Part III)

She went down at about six o'clock to help with the cooking. As she walked down the hall, she couldn't help but stare at her bedroom door. The first day she was here, she was already thinking a lot. A lot was coming to her mind. Especially with why he brought her there yet he doesn't talk to her.

She took slow steps as if she was trying to keep from making a noise, even on the way down the stairs. As she passed the living room, she saw a small picture frame with a gold liner. Actually, almost everything there is glowing. If not gold, it is silver. Her attention returned to the picture frame and she stopped to stare at it. She just noticed it now. Maybe she hasn't observed much before. Her chest throbbed at the sight of a familiar face alone in the photograph.

Those pairs of eyes. Deep, piercing, hideous, dangerous, and commanding. Pursed bloody red lips. Black, messy hair and pale skin. His well-sculptured pointy nose. And how his brows creased in annoyance. Even with his snobbish

this story is horribly messy written! the last few chapters I am so confused it doesn't follow the beginning of the book.
