Seeing the huge serpent scarily hissing at them, Max got a huge headache coming, especially with only the two of them fighting with limited stamina and equipment.

although it made a tickle of damage to the Serpent, it was successful in distracting the Serpent for a moment, of which Lucifer took complete advantage and dashed madly into the hole like his life was on the line. Max was the first one to find safety as he was close to the hole, followed by Lucifer who nearly got his ass burnt as he leapt into the hole just as the serpent breath out the corrosive poison spray on him the wall taking the brunt of the attack with a now censored view of his butt taking a hit, with his pants having a hole now.

Max now started surveying his surroundings. He saw that it was big enough for five people to roam freely at once and the hole was too small for the enraged serpent to fit in and its tail, so they were safe till the Serpent did not use poison spray again. Max heaved a sigh of relief since they were safe atleast for the time being and his thoughts again wandered to how to escape (If fighting isn't possible), as both waited a few moments for their mana and skills to be ready.
