After a quick wave to Tara at the reception desk, Annalise rode the elevator down to the first floor. She exited the building and saw Lance standing at the curb, one hand resting on the open door to the backseat of his car, the other shoved into his pocket. Lance looked so damn arrogant but sexy as hell! That quick glance at him made her heart skip a beat. Lance looked like the rightful King of the Universe. Not only did he belong in this Universe, but he owned every inch of it. He nodded as Annalise approached and motioned her inside the car. Then he slid in beside her and shut the door. “I thought we could eat at this restaurant I know across town. The food there is excellent and grants us a lot of privacy.” Lance looked at her with a raised eyebrow. “I’m pretty sure we both need privacy right now… after a week away from each other…” She tilted her chin up and stared coolly at him. Annalise entered her office with a heightened sense of anticipation. She was feeling nervous and excited at the same time. Lance was dragging her on the path to perdition one smile at a time, one deep kiss at a time, one sexy look at a time, one amazing speech at a time. The words he’d said… He’d seemed so sincere and so passionate… Her mouth curved into a mischievous smile to match the naughtiness of her and Lance’s plan. It was wicked, forbidden, and she was so turned on that she was ready to jump out of her shoes. With a sigh, Annalise sank into her chair behind her desk and logged on to catch up on e-mails. She was looking for the last report from Howard on her client meetings he covered while she was taking care of the last details on “HL Sportswear”. For her night of passion with Lance, Annalise chose the most sinful set of lingerie she owned. On top of that, she chose a pair of ripped high-waisted jeans that were hugging her curves, and a white shirt. Why bother wearing something more elegant? He was going to strip her naked the moment she entered his suite, so… “This is it,” she added, after one last look in the mirror. Unsure of whether she’d return to her apartment before going to work the next day, Annalise threw an outfit into an overnight bag along with her toiletries and a lavender bra and panties. Annalise did a quick check of her texts, and then she did something she never did. She turned off her phone and tucked it into her overnight bag. She needed no reminders from the real world. If she was going to indulge in this fantasy, she was going whole hog. She locked up the apartment and hurried out her door to the street where the driver was waiting for her. “Your taste… Oh, Anna… You’re so addictive. I swear I’ll never get tired of eating you,” Lance whispered, pulling her head back and to the side, exposing her neck to the sharp, hungry press of his teeth. Still shaky, she lifted her lashes as Lance sighed roughly, pulling away from her just for a fraction. Unwittingly, her tongue slid out, capturing his taste on her lips. Her lashes fluttered closed as she savored it. Forcing a breath into her lungs, Annalise opened her eyes. A shudder wracked her. “I’ve got no problem with that. Not one,” she replied in a husky whisper, watching him as she lifted her hand and pressed her index finger against his lip. The pounding of her heart seemed to roar in her ears as Lance opened his mouth and bit down lightly on the tip of her finger, stroking it lightly with his tongue. “Good,” Lance said and swept her up in his arms. “Because I’m not done with you yet.” “I sure as hell hope not.” His bed cradled he

While recovering in his arms, Annalise became aware that he was stroking her back and her hair. He was murmuring little sweet words in her ear, words that weren’t making much sense, but she didn’t care. She was completely and utterly taken by Lance, by her reaction to him. “I think I blew it again,” he said playing with her hair. Annalise smiled and snuggled a little closer, tucking her head under his chin and nuzzling his chest. “You blew, all right, Mr. Hamilton. But I think I blew first… again and again…” His chest heaved as he chuckled. “You’re such a naughty girl, Miss Walsh.” She closed her eyes and pressed her cheek against his chest, listening to the beating of his heart. “I’ve missed this so much, Lance… I’ve missed you.” That confession popped up so unexpectedly… It left Annalise perplexed and excited at the same time. It was true, she not only missed Lance and his presence, but she also missed being with him, touching him, kiss

Half an hour later, they sat cross-legged on the bed, devouring the dinner Lance had ordered for them. Annalise was swallowed up by one of his huge robes, and Lance was wearing a pair of boxer shorts. She ate indelicately, with her fingers, foregoing the utensils. What she was having didn’t need a fork or a knife anyway. Another sign of how relaxed she was in that very instant. “I am glad dinner is to your liking… Dear God, you are one famished woman!” Lance exclaimed looking at her while she was licking her fingers one by one, like a dockworker. “What can I do? I love eating and I’m famished. Because of you, I hardly ate at lunch and had to skip dinner. Besides, you ordered everything I like.” Annalise was really amazed by the way Lance was trying to make her happy. It was incredibly endearing. “Well, to make amends, I have something else prepared for you. It’s a surprise…” Lance said smiling. “What is it?” she asked. “I remembered that during our little escapade, you

After Lance pulled the car into one of the reserved parking spaces at the Olympia Stadium and cut the engine, Annalise turned and looked in his direction. It was so good being with him again. After their night together, she didn’t see much of him. The presentation had to be perfect, so Annalise chose to focus on her work, much to Lance’s chagrin. At that point, Lance decided to leave Los Angeles and flew to New York to take care of some business. Not having him near, not being in his arms at night was excruciating, especially after her revelation. But even away from each other, he called her every day and especially every night. Sexting and video chatting… such a wonderful invention!
