~Chapter Thirty Four~Kai’s POV Rain was rolling in as I marched across to the hospital where the survivors were, questions weighing heavy on my mind. If Kelvin’s intel was correct about the patrol attack, I needed to hear it from the witnesses themselves. Kelvin had come to me after Elara left the office with something that made me pause. He had gone over the attack report again and noticed something about the crest placement that didn’t sit right with him. It was too deliberate like whoever left it wanted it to be found. To be honest, after hearing that I just realized my pack enforcers had missed something they shouldn’t have. They were always meant to be trusted with the duties of investigating crime, attack scenes properly before reporting back to me. Now if what Kelvin implied was true then someone planted the evidence perfectly to lead everyone to Ironstone.
