~Chapter Seventy Two~Elara’s POV I stormed out of the clinic with no answers. The fact that the doctor refused to tell me anything made me regret coming to the clinic in the first place. After I asked whether I was the problem, he shook his head. When I asked if I needed to be bitten again, he said no to that too. That should have given me some relief. Instead, my desperate need to understand what was happening to Kai only grew stronger. Why had a giant wolf suddenly appeared in front of me? Frustrated, I headed to the coffee shop, hoping I’d find Zara there. Just as I expected, she was there talking to a young man who looked vaguely familiar. His voice didn’t sound good. “Are you okay?” I asked. “Go, Elara!” he snapped, and I hurried off to find help. Thankfully, the pack doctor wasn’t hard to find. He was standing with a group of men, laughing and drinking I interrupted them and whispered, “Kai needs you.” Concern flashed across his face as he quickly excused himself and followed me. “Do I need my kit?”
