~Chapter Eighty Four~Elara’s POV When his fingers moved over my breast and brushed against my nipples, a soft, breathless gasp escaped my lips. Was I really doing this? ~Chapter Eighty Three~Elara’s POV This place didn’t seem right. We had agreed to leave on the morning flight instead of the evening one. I didn’t know how else to explain that I had seen an attendant standing in the middle of those trees. Neither could I explain the images of the white stone and the feather that had flashed through my mind the moment I touched the lady’s hands. It sounded almost unbelievable. I knew anyone else would think I was losing my mind. Yet, somehow, Kai believed the attendant was there. He wanted to go out there and confront whoever was in the woods, but Zara and I pleaded with him not to cause chaos, especially since we were leaving the next day. For now, we needed to be careful and avoid going anywhere without his supervision. I turned to Nulu, who sat there so quietly, almost as if she could feel exactly what I was feeling. ~Chapter Eighty One~ Kai’s POV I grabbed his arm before he could leave. “Wait. Whose is that?” The attendant looked down at the rose, confused. “This?” He paused. “It belongs to one of our guests, sir.” I frowned. “Guest?” “Yes. Her fiancé forgot it at dinner earlier so he asked one of the staff to return it.” I looked at the note again. The handwriting wasn’t the same as the one sent. Neither was the paper. I stared at him for a moment before letting go of his arm. “Alright.” “Sir…?” he asked. “That’s all.” “Yes, yes.” I exhaled, placing my hands inside my pocket. He hurried off while I remained where I was. For a moment, I thought I’d found the culprit. That had been far too much of a coincidence. So whoever had sent Elara that rose never came through the front desk? That meant someone knew how to move around the resort without leaving a trace. Someone knew exactly where we were staying and had delivered it through the chef. That bothered me far more than the letter
