LOGINChapter 4
Endora’s POV I turned around as I sank deeper into the mattress, a soft moan escaped my lips before my eyes slowly fluttered open. The first sight that greeted me was the white ceiling, then I darted my gaze to the side. No one was present, my brow furrowed before I sat up. At that moment, the memories of last night crashed into me like lightning as a gasp escaped my lips. I glanced around and the sound of running water confirmed everything. Damn me, I felt the sting between my thighs, how I had urged him to continue, and at the end of the night I ended up crying and pleading in pleasure. Shame clung to me like a second skin instantly as I dragged my fingers through my hair, then slowly climbed down from the bed. I gathered my clothes scattered on the floor. Thankfully, I had my purse, so I quickly took some cash and placed it neatly on the vanity. In a blink, I slipped out of the hotel, hailed a cab, and adjusted slowly. “Damn, he was a beast!” I muttered under my breath. I could barely walk! Finally, the cab stopped at my apartment. I climbed the stairs, and as soon as I yanked the door open, my body froze. Danny. He slowly turned to face me. “Where were you?” he asked, and I swallowed, scratching the back of my neck. How could I confess I had allowed a stranger to fuck me? I cleared my throat. “Why are you here?” I asked instead, moving further in, and he sighed. “I searched everywhere for you on that hotel floor. How did you vanish like that?” he asked, and I just blinked at him. “To think you might have been kidnapped or thrown out since that was the penthouse,” he added, his voice sharper than usual. I knew he rarely scolded me. Yet he couldn’t just blame me for everything. I needed something, and he refused to give it, so I sought it elsewhere. “I’m fine now. You don’t have to be so worked up,” I added with a sigh, the word penthouse slipping my mind. He shook his head while I moved further with shaky legs to sit on the couch. “Why are you walking that way?” His eyes dropped to my shoulders. “Oh no...no Endora.” He suddenly closed the distance, his eyes wide as though he had just uncovered a forbidden truth. He leaned toward my shoulders, his finger grazed my exposed neck. “Damn it, Endora, did you go back to sleep with him?” he asked, and a frown etched across my face instantly. I slapped his hand away. “I didn’t. Honestly, how can you think so little of me?” I knew he was talking about Jace. If only he knew the man from last night was far greater than Jace in every way. Oh yeah, I hadn’t slept with Jace, but judging from the measure of their dick, it was clear who would be better. “I told you not to do something reckless,” Danny added, and I waved him off. “Enough of the lectures, Danny. I’m starving,” I murmured, batting my lashes at him innocently. That man had drained every ounce of strength I carried. His lips twitched. “I knew you would be.” His shoulders sagged in defeat. “Let me make some sandwiches for you,” he said with a pout, and I smiled brightly at him. “You’re the best!” I chimed. His scoff echoed. “In your fucking dream Endora Louis!” I laughed at his words. A heavy sigh escaped me as I slumped deeper into the couch. So what was next now? I had slept with another man, but did that erase what Jace did? Well, maybe it made me feel a bit lighter. “So what are your plans now you have ended things?” Danny’s voice pulled me from my thoughts. Though I was a fresh graduate, seeking a job knowing I wanted to work for the Harrison’s Group must be difficult because Jace was a Harrison. He could easily make things difficult for me. “I don’t know.” I murmured, taking the sandwich from him, I took a big bite. “How about you come with me to Italy?” Danny offered, and I rolled my eyes. “You know how much I don’t like traveling,” I pointed out with my shoulders sagged. Danny had his family in Italy though, so I understood why he loved going there. “Regardless, I’m gonna miss you. You’re all I’ve got, but I don’t mind waiting for you,” I said, and he chuckled. He waved me off. “Of course you’re gonna miss me, but are you okay?” he asked, his gaze flickering to the hickey on my nape. “Can we not talk about it?” I asked instead. I'm fine, and I didn’t know what he wanted me to say. I was barely done eating when a knock echoed on the door, making me pause. “Are you expecting someone?” Danny asked, and I shook my head slowly. Instantly, he rose to get the door. As he pushed it open, the voice that followed made my stomach twist. Mia. “Why are you giving me that look?!” Her voice rose sharply at Danny, making me rise to my feet. I moved closer to her, with my arms folded under my chest. “What are you doing here?” I asked, glaring at her. She scoffed, her eyes scanning my body, but then she stepped closer, making me retreat. “You need to leave.” Danny pulled her back. Suddenly, she burst into laughter as her eyes flickered to my nape. “Did you let your pathetic friend fuck you?” she spat, and my face burned crimson. “How dare you—” “Oh, please shut up!” She cut Danny off sharply. “You two really suit each other, a pauper with a pauper. Damn, I can’t wait to tell Jace,” she said, her eyes gleaming with triumph as though she had struck gold. My fingers dug into my palm. “Leave, Mia. I won’t tolerate your madness here,” I said evenly. She sneered. “Of course, I’m leaving. I came to see how miserable you’d be, but it seems I got better news.” She clicked her tongue in disdain. My eyes narrowed, watching her brush her finger through her hair with a smug smile, then she pulled a paper from her bag and tossed it at our body. “You are invited to my engagement party tomorrow,” she spat. The word hit hard like a hammer. “Leave, bitch! She isn’t attending any of you cheaters’ engagement!” Danny defended. “Oh...” Mia laughed softly, “Endora knew better than not to come to my engagement. My mother wants you there. If you don’t take her words, you know the consequences, don’t you?” She smirked with her eyebrow arched. My finger curled into a fist at her words. Oh, I knew, my witch aunt was going to use my late grandma’s gravestone maintenance as a threat. She smirked at my expression. “Ugly little things, I wish you guys a miserable relationship.” She spat, staring at me and Danny. And just like that she turned and walked away. Instantly my knees weakened as I almost slumped on the floor. Just in time Danny held me. My eyes met his. “You promise not to cry over this, Endora.” He warned, and my eyes stung. How did I hold my tears back when he was getting engaged and I was forced to watch everything happen? Just how cruel could these people be?Chapter 5Endora's POVA tight smile stretched across my face as I entered the hall, the whole room sparkled like scattered diamonds beneath the massive crystal chandelier.Every table was draped in heavy silk that shimmered with silver. My fingers clutched my dress instinctively, I had barely taken two steps when my aunt swept over to where I stood.A frown etched across her face. My lips parted to speak. "Good—" "There is nothing good you have to say. If your cousin didn't want you here, I wouldn't have allowed you. Now go to the last seat over there because the tables are booked." She pointed at the corner where the light barely reached. My brow furrowed in confusion. Oh, my aunt knew—she knew how much I loved Jace, even though she never approved of him and always told him I was too good for him.Who would have thought she'd be the event planner today? "Aunty, won't you ask..." I didn't get to finish before the sharp click of heels cut through.Mia approached with a smug smile,

Chapter 3Endora’s POV Slowly he pulled away from the kiss. My teeth caught my lower lip, my lashes fluttered rapidly as our gaze locked. “There’s no going back after this.” His words felt like a threat, yet I smiled stiffly as my throat bobbed. “You can still leave now,” he whispered, placing a soft kiss on my nape. I knew if I left, I would probably go back home with Daniel, cry myself to sleep, and wake up with the same pain lingering in my chest. And what about Jace and Mia? They got to enjoy themselves while I suffered. A smile settled on my face as I curled my fingers around his neck. “It’s just for tonight.” My voice dipped low, he raised his eyes to meet mine. “You wish,” he breathed with a smirk curled at the corner of his lips, and before I could blink, he scooped my feet off the floor. The softness of the mattress made me bounce as he threw me onto the bed. In one swift movement, he stripped naked. Immediately, my gaze caught sight of his shaft. My
Chapter 2Endora’s POV My heart throbbed like it was about to rip apart as I banged my fist against my chest, then grabbed the bottle of alcohol and drank until the burn forced my eyes shut. A hand closed around the neck of the bottle and pulled it away. “Pull yourself together!” Daniel urged, and my eyes lifted to meet him. I hadn’t imagined he would come searching for me, he literally abandoned his work just to stand by me. And I was thankful for that, thankful that someone still cared, yet my chest still felt tight. Why did it feel like I was splintering inside knowing someone I loved betrayed me? “How do I silence the pain? The image of us calling me a cheat is literally everywhere.” My voice cracked into a whisper as I sniffled, staring at Daniel. His gaze softened as he moved closer. “It’s alright to feel sad, Scarth, you can cry it all out. Besides, those online pictures are a false narrative,” he said, patting my back gently. “And after tonight they don’t des
Chapter 1Endora’s POVMy fingers tightened around the cake box. The pale pink ribbon I had tied earlier dug into my skin.I had spent three hours on that cake. Vanilla sponge, raspberry filling, and the exact frosting my boyfriend liked.Tonight is the night I finally gave him my body and everything he had longed for.The thought alone made my heart hammer so hard that I felt it in my throat.I didn’t have to knock before I pushed his door opened and the familiar scent of his cologne mixed with something else swirled into my nostrils. The smell of sweat, sex, and the sharp edge of perfume that I could have sworn wasn’t mine.I barely took two steps before I heard it. A low, broken moan drifted from the living room.“Ah... fuck, harder. Don’t stop—” The voice sounded familiar, too familiar for me not to know who it belonged to.At that moment, my steps slowed. The smile on my face slipped away.I rounded the corner. And there it was. Mia, my cousin knelt on the couch, her dress shoved
