CHAPTER NINETY.

“This is my verdict” the judge used the gavel on the table and everyone stood up except Jack who had an extremely angry look on his face.

He has been sentenced to ten years in prison with a fine of fifty million dollars to the affected people and this was a bigger punishment for him.

His father had to remove his hand from the case and Jack was left all alone to his fate.

The fact that he even shot Audrey was added to his list of crimes and he was being punished for that.

As he was being led away, he couldn’t help but glare at Audrey and the smirk on his lips showed he had something planned.

“Even on his way to jail, he still looks like he wants to kill me” she managed to say to Bruno.

“He will not be able to harm you again, Audrey. He is a lost cause now”

“I see” she nodded but didn’t say anything again as her mind drifted to what happened a day ago.
