Emerald stood in a corner while she stared at the huge gate of the mansion of the Prestons. She bit her lower lips as she hit her leg on the floor.

She had been standing there for over ten minutes wondering if she should move over to the gate or not.

She had nothing to lose anymore… Did she?

Their house has been taken away.

Her cars and most of her belongings have been taken away because they were under her father’s name.

The last news she had from her father was when he had gone to court and when the media had announced his verdicts.

Her father was going to serve his term in jail.

Finally, she moved to the big gate and then pressed the button. The gate pulled open almost immediately and the middle-aged security man opened the gate.

“Ma… ma’am?” He raised his brows and then turned to look backward again.
