THE RELEASE OF ANGER

Leonardo

I was so angry. I picked up my phone and called Lyra.

“Come to my office now,” I said, then hung up.

I needed to release this anger in me quickly before I exploded. In the next 30 minutes, I saw Isabella stopping her from coming in. I told Isabella to go.

Then Lyra entered and locked the door. I didn't even let her sit. I told her to get on her knees. I brought out my hard cock and gave it to her to suck.

I shoved it into her mouth and deep-throated, fucking her mouth fast till I came inside her mouth. She greedily swallowed it all.

I raised her up, bent her over my office desk, and took her fast and hard, thrusting in and out while she moaned and screamed. I didn't care, nor did I slow my pace. I needed to release this anger inside of me. I kept thrusting inside of her and spanking her ass hard and fast till I pulled out with a growl and came all over her ass.

She collapsed into the chair, breathlessly and smiling.

I adjusted my clothes, paid her, and asked her to get out. She did immediately, smiling at the alert she had just received. As usual, that's all they cared about.

Shortly after, Luca knocked, and I said, “Come in.”

With a knowing smirk on his face, he said, “How hard did you go on that poor girl? Her legs are shaking.”

“I don't care,” I said coldly. “I've paid her for her service already.”

He smiled, then looked at me seriously and said, “How are we going to deal with your father's will? Don't tell me you are going to let your hatred for women make you lose everything you worked so hard for.”

I shot him a glare and said nothing.

Isabella

Barely 30 minutes later, we got back from the meeting. A man walked up to me, saying he wanted to see his nephew, the CEO. I asked him if he had any meetings with him, but he ignored me and started going. I quickly called Leonardo, and he said I should let him in, so I didn't bother to stop him. He looks scary.

After some time, he walked out with a smile on his face like he just won a lottery. I focused on doing my job, sorting our documents. Then, a girl who dressed half-naked walked in, looking at me with disgust and heading straight to Leonardo's office. I tried to stop her till we got to the office, and Leonardo asked me to leave, which I did.

Wondering what the girl was doing in his office, dressed half-naked, I sat at my desk. Then Luca came. I greeted him with a smile. He was asking me how my first day at work was going. I said it was fine. We barely finished gisting when the girl walked out, looking like a mess, with her legs barely holding her together while she was busy smiling and looking at her phone.

Luca smirked and started going in to see the boss. I just minded my business. After all, it's none of my business if he fucks a whore or not.

I was so busy with my work that I didn't check the time. It was already late, 6:00 p.m. As I was arranging my desk to call it a day, I saw the boss coming out of his office with Luca behind him. He didn't spare me a glance, but Luca did, saying, "Why have you not gone home yet?"

I told him I was done with my work already and was going out. Then he said, "Okay," and asked about my grandma. I said she is fine.

He said I can tag along with them and let them drop me off, but I said no. I had already ordered for my ride. He said okay and left.

I came outside of the company and entered my ride. I got home, and Grandma was watching a movie. I greeted her and kissed her cheeks. I got to my room, freshened up, had my breakfast downstairs, and went to bed.

FIAMMA

I was looking stunning in that beautiful, captivating pink gown. With my makeup artist done with my makeup, I was ready for my next photo shoot. I was shooting for a brand, holding a cream. I was the model for the product.

After I was done with that, I called my bestie, Isabella, asking her if she was free so we could have lunch together. She said yes, that she was about to go out for her lunch. I told her we could meet at Laxus Restaurant.

She agreed. I got there later. She was already there, eating French fries and a burger. We hugged each other, and I also ordered something different to eat. I can't eat that since I'm on a diet.

We started gisting, and I asked her how she had been coping with my brother. She smiled and said, "My brother is a living robot. He never smiles, always strict, firing people for any slight mistakes. I've worked with your brother for 3 months. The only reason I'm still there is because of the pay."

We laughed about it.

Then I asked her about Luca. "How is he?"

She said, "Luca is fine."

"Why don't you confess your feelings for him? You have been in love with him since childhood."

"I have. He said he only sees me as a sister, nothing more."

"Then why don't you just forget about him and move on?"

"I can't. All the guys I've met are only after my money or body. They don't love me, but with Luca, it's different."

"I understand. Just be careful so you don't get hurt."

"Well, enough with that. My birthday is this weekend. I want you to come."

"Of course, I'm coming, dear."

"What about that robotic brother of yours? Is he not coming?"

"He said he's not coming, that he's busy. But I talked to Luca to help me talk to him to come. He said he will try his best."

"What about Luca? Is he coming?"

"I don't know. I asked him, and he hung up."

Isabella

After having lunch with Fiamma, I looked at my wristwatch and kissed her cheeks. I told her I needed to go before his robotic brother fired me. We both laughed, and I left.

I got to the office, and he was not around. I breathed a sigh of relief, then I got busy with my work. Shortly later, he walked in. I greeted him, and he nodded his head and asked me to send the senior analysts, Mr. Marcus and Vivian, to come to his office. I'm

Which they immediately did, and he started walking into his office. Five minutes later, Mr. Marcus and Vivian came shaking with fear. They both walked into the boss's office. Within 15 minutes, I saw them both crying and coming out. I was worried and asked Vivian what happened.

She said they both got fired because they were having an affair.

I was shocked.

Isabella"He's jealous," I said, holding both of Nonna Sophia's hands in mine, forcing my voice to stay steady even as the lie sat heavy on my tongue. "Marcelo has spent his whole life watching Leonardo build something he could never have. A company. A family that still loves him despite everything. Now a wife who chose him. Of course he wants to poison it. It's the only weapon he has left."She studied my face for a long moment, the way she used to when I came home from school with a story that didn't quite add up. I made myself hold her gaze."I love him, Nonna," I said, and strangely, that part didn't feel like a lie at all anymore. "The contract is just paper now. What's underneath it is real."Her shoulders finally softened, the worry easing out of the lines around her eyes, and she pulled me into a hug that smelled like lavender soap and warm bread. "Then don't let that bitter old man near your wedding," she murmured against my hair. "

IsabellaSecurity had Julian out of the ballroom within ninety seconds, but I felt his eyes on the ring long after the doors closed behind him. Leonardo never let go of my hand, not once, not even when Marcelo crossed the room a moment later with a smile so tight it looked painful, offering congratulations that sounded like a threat wearing a nice suit. I smiled back and said thank you and didn't believe a word coming out of either of our mouths.LeonardoI didn't wait until morning.By the time we got home from the gala, I had already called the one man in Milan who owed me a favor big enough to open doors that should have stayed shut: a private investigator who used to work fraud cases for the finance ministry before he decided my money was better than his pension. I gave him one name. Marcus. I told him I wanted everything, every account, every phone record, every meeting from the last six months, and I wanted it before I had to look Luca

  • WHISPERS OF BETRAYAL: THE COLD CEO   Chapter 18: The Engagement

IsabellaThe photo was everywhere by the time I woke up. Julian's hand around my wrist, my face caught mid flinch, captioned in three different languages with some version of the same lie: *Moretti bride caught with mystery man.*I sat on the edge of the bed with my phone shaking in my hands until Leonardo's assistant knocked on the door and told me not to check my phone again for the rest of the day. It turned out to be good advice, because by that evening the story had simply stopped existing. Not buried. Erased. Three outlets that ran it issued quiet corrections. A gossip page that refused to take it down found its advertising pulled within hours. Leonardo never mentioned it to me directly. He didn't need to. I understood exactly what kind of man could make an entire news cycle disappear before dinner, and it frightened me a little how easily he'd done it.Three days later, he told me to be ready by seven.I wore emerald green that night,

  • WHISPERS OF BETRAYAL: THE COLD CEO   Chapter 17: Fiamma finding out

LeonardoThe photograph was already everywhere by the time Matthew slid his tablet across my desk.I recognized the street before I recognized the man. The ivy on the restaurant wall near the Duomo, the candles flickering behind old glass windows, the awning I had personally approved for a sponsorship shoot only weeks before, and in the middle of it, Isabella, her hand caught inside another man's grip, her face turned up toward his like she was listening to something that mattered. The caption underneath, already written by some gossip page with more speed than sense, called him her "mystery man." I knew exactly who he was before Matthew even said the name.Something cold moved through my chest, sharp enough that I had to set the tablet down before my hand betrayed how tight my grip had gotten. Not because I cared who touched her. This was a contract, nothing more, a signature on a page that kept my father's company out of Marcelo's hands. But that

  • WHISPERS OF BETRAYAL: THE COLD CEO   Chapter 16: The Man I Used To Love

IsabellaThree days had passed since I told Leonardo about the parking garage, and he hadn't said a single word about it since. That was how I knew it mattered. Leonardo didn't sit on things that didn't matter. He'd gone quiet in that particular way of his, the one where his eyes tracked a room like he was cataloguing every exit, and Matthew had been in and out of his office so often that his assistant started keeping a fresh pot of coffee ready just for him. Luca's badge still didn't work on any door past the lobby. Nobody said Marcus's name out loud, but I caught it once, folded into a hushed conversation between Leonardo and Matthew that stopped the second they noticed me in the doorway.I told myself it wasn't my job to chase it any further than I already had. I had my own work piling up: press releases nobody wanted to sign off on, a company gala in three weeks that Fiamma had thrown herself into planning with far too much enthusiasm, and a stack of vendor contracts that needed a

  • WHISPERS OF BETRAYAL: THE COLD CEO   Chapter 15: The signature

IsabellaMy first morning in Leonardo's house began with a silence so complete it felt like a held breath. No creak of Nonna's old floorboards. No smell of coffee drifting up from the kitchen before I'd even opened my eyes. Just cold marble under my bare feet and a bedroom the size of my grandmother's entire ground floor, the sheets so crisp they still smelled faintly of starch instead of home.I sat up slowly, pulling the duvet around my shoulders, and looked at the empty side of the bed. He hadn't slept there. Of course he hadn't. There were seven bedrooms in this house and he'd chosen the one at the opposite end of the hallway, as if putting distance between us made the marriage certificate on Matthew's desk any less real.Fiamma's voice was still rattling around in my skull from the night before, warm and delighted and utterly unaware of what she'd actually heard. *Sorry, Fiamma, I'm swamped.* And underneath it, his voice, low, saying my name once before I'd ended the call too fast
