CHAPTER 32: FUTURE WIFE

"Newspaper! Newspaper everyone." A voice resonated around the busy place in a newly founded city, around ten years from what he could remember. It was long enough for humans, but it was a fleeting moment for creatures like him. He’s been staying in the city for almost five years. It hasn’t been long since he had stayed in one place for this long. He was often stayed for two to three years, but Elijah must admit that he enjoyed the peace the city had to offer.

He was a witness when the city was just starting. That time, he was still trying to find a place to settle for a moment. The peacefulness of the place drew Elijah in... until pureblood families began bugging him. He had several visits, but all of what they offered or threatened to do was rejected or ignored.

Elijah approached the teenager quietly and purchased a newspaper to see how humans were dealing with vampires in the area.

"Thank you, good gentleman. Have a nice day!" The newspaper boy smiled gleefully and went on to offer
