Sienna’s POV

As I walked hand in hand with Maisie, helping Kira organize the cupcake tower for her big announcement, I heard the doorbell ring. Kira glanced at the Ring camera and muttered, "Oh shit, here we go."

Maisie giggled beside me. "Ooo, she said shit!"

I chuckled, too, covering my mouth.

A few seconds later, Ruby, Kira's mother-in-law, but she doesn’t know it yet, opened the door. First to enter were Kira’s parents, Karl and Sabrina. They hugged Ruby warmly, chatting as they made their way into the house to greet everyone else.

Karl scooped up little Jaxon into his arms, smiling, just as Kole walked in behind them. He nodded hello to everyone, moving to talk with Knox and Jennifer. Derrick, as usual, according to Kira, pretended to stay busy on his phone.

Meanwhile, Jackson and Karl got caught up in whatever game was on the television.
