Roxie and Tanner watch me in silence as I drink directly from Tanner's bottle of alcohol. I feel like shit and I have never felt like this before. I have always been this carefree person, but the minute Caleb showed up in my life, everything went to shambles. We fought and fought, then he proposed to me, and then I finally ended the relationship. The first year, I thought I was gonna die. I'd given up on relationships and I vowed to focus on my job and have fun. And fun, I agreed to have by following Roxie to this top Miami club. I wake up to the smell of coffee, bacon and eggs in the air. Without being told, I know my mom's behind that beguiling aroma. It's Monday morning. The day all of this pretentious act that has to deal with Chase comes to an end. If I'm lucky, today should be a good day for me. Chase left last night and I don't remember him leaving my bedroom. When I woke up at midnight, I found a handwritten note by Chase, telling me he couldn't spend the night and that he had to leave. Attached with beautiful kisses and I love yous. I quickly take a shower and get dressed in a dark grey short sleeve dress. I slip my feet inside my pumps. I add a little natural make up and twirl around in front of my mirror. I look good.
