“After you,” I gestured forward to Violet, as the automatic glass doors of the Italian restaurant slid open.

“Forever the gentleman,” She smiled, walking inside, “Where do you want to sit? The whole place is empty.”

Looking at the gargantuan dimly-lit interior of the exquisite restaurant, I shrugged, “Anywhere is fine by me.”

“I want to sit by the window,” She said, to which I nodded before we walked to the window chairs.
