“Is that all you have to tell me now.” Damien demanded but I kept quiet.
“Are you really going to accept that Amelia brainwashes you all?” My wife said making me angry, Damien was still proving to be so stubborn.
“You are so stubborn Damien, I know I trained and took care of Amelia but I don’t expect this from you..I am sorry to say this but you have already been brainwashed by her.” I said to Damien
“Thank you.” With that he immediately ended the call and I threw my phone angrily making my wife chuckle evilly.
“Amelia, that girl would never change after trying to steal Isabelle mate and also almost causing commotion amoungst everyone and even reaching the extent of using black magic I even succeeded in making her leave but she is still after Isabelle.” My wife said making me think of what I could do.
“Let Isabelle return to the palace.” I announced to my wife who stood up immediately with her eyes widely open.
“We can’t do that, let’s just talk to Isabelle and tell her Damien would caution Amelia and the nightmares would stop.” I said before picking up my phone yet again and calling Isabelle, the phone ranged but she didn’t pick till I called the second time and her voice sounded so dull.
“Father.” She whispered and I felt my heart shake for my daughter and what was happening.
“I am sorry I just got to know about your nightmares, why didn’t you tell me that Amelia was haunting you.” I said to her but her voice was too weak.
“She is making everything worst, I can’t have peace of mind father…I just wish she could disappear for good.” She said to me with a teary voice.
“You don’t have to be bothered, just be happy damien would take care of everything and Amelia would stop using black magic on you.” I said to her and I could feel her smiling.
“Are you sure? Damien loves Amelia too much she won’t stop, she has taken position in the apace and he does everything she wants.” Isabelle said and it hurted me that I couldn’t do anything to Damien, that man had become to stiff and thinks he could defy anyone.
“I would make sure to deal with him so please be happy.” I said, I stared back at my wife and she was nodding and assuring me she had plans.
“I am happy now.” She said and i smiled happily before ending the call.
“What are we going to do?”I asked my wife because she seemed to have a plan.
“We spread the word, we tell everyone what Amelia is doing.” My wife said but I stared at her again weirdly.
“What do you mean?” I asked.
“We would tell everyone the news that she is a witch now and is slowly joking her hands with black magic.” My wife said and although I didn’t feel so good about it I still agreed, I needed it…I needed to assure my daughter that I could protect her, I was the one who took Amelia in and continued to watch my daughter being compared and maltreated by someone who I had taken good care of.
“What are you thinking about? Don’t you want to do the right thing? Or don’t you know that Amelia is taking advantage of the love you had for her…the fact that you took her in and made her your daughter, she would be expecting you to not say a word but please prove her wrong.” My wife added and that made me stick to my words.
“Do it.” I commanded my wife who walked out immediately, I didn’t even know what she was planning on doing but I was going to let her do it as long as it would make Isabelle happy.
I came out of the palace and walked into the streets to at least know what my wife had done and to my surprise it was a good job, I could hear people all around whispering about Amelia using black magic.
“I can’t believe it, first she wants to be the Luna and now she is trying to using black magic to eliminate her sister, someone who took good care of her and now she is turning everything around.” I heard people whispering and for a weird reason I was happy about it, I was happy because I had finally made my daughter happy, my phone started ringing and when I checked it was Isabelle and I felt so happy when I heard her voice.
“Father, thank you so much.. I am so happy.” She said with a very good voice.
“I can’t believe you too care of everything so quickly, it is really spreading like wide fire that she has black magic.” Isabelle said before giggling and just then my wife walked up to me.
“You don’t have to worry anymore, you should just be happy.” I muttered to her before ending the call.
“It is done, you don’t have to worry.” My wife said.
During nightfall I climbed my bed with an eased mind and layed on the bed and within seconds I fell asleep but it want the kind of peaceful nap I wanted to take.
In this dream of mine I was running in a maze and no matter how much I ran I still couldn’t find a way, it was like I was running endlessly with no way to escape, I finally thought I found a way to escape but as I tried to crumble up to the escape route I fell and slammed my leg on the stone, staring down at my leg and I was bleeding ..I yelled in fright and just then I felt a tap only to wake up drenched in sweat and my wife placing her hand on my shoulder in fright.
“You were having a nightmare, what’s wrong?”
“Are you sure that girl is not using voodoo.”
